This is going to be in a High Fantasy/Post-Apocalyptic setting, complete with a world map The world is a hostile place, especially since 'First Contact' had occurred across the seas of nightmarish creatures that seek to conquer and enslave all sentient life on the planet and destroy any that pose a threat. Wicked creatures that looked like they came from Tartarus itself, their souls pitch black and as vast as the ocean itself that separates them. These creatures conquered an the Equestrian colony across the sea on a recently discovered continent. The moment that they made contact with the mainland, they swept across the lands like a tidal wave. The Alliance of the Light, made up with all of the races on the mainland, has been fighting these creatures for over a hundred years. It is only now that the Light has finally gained the upperhoof against such a ruthless enemy. The numbers of these creatures are starting to wear thin and the Light has begun to retake her lost countries. The only reason is why? (I've been thinking of this for a while, and I'm hoping I could expand this into a fully fledged project. This RP will encourage race and nation creation and a map will be created later)
