As the title might suggest my day just got shot to pieces, one of my so called "friends" is continually nagging me about something that I truly do not have control over. This is not the first time this has happened mind you. So now my day is shot down and I have some pent up Rage in me, my walk failed to cure it and so too is my music. Thinking about seeing what writing will do about it, maybe that will cool me down. If all else fails I will most likely just get on my 360 and go and kill some orks on Space Marine.

none the less if I do get a short that winds up cooling me down and I think its good enough I just might post it, but we will see.

There really ARE pity threads everywhere D:

I'm sorry to hear that. If your friend is irritating you, just try to ignore them until they stop. I mean, it's not your fault, right?

Just try and be happy. Nothing can't be beat with a positive attitude! :D

You really need to learn the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

On topic, I think you should just let it go. If he keeps bugging you, ignore it.

Not sure what to make of this. If you feel you have a problem, one you need help with, then of course we'd want to help, but if it's just venting, I'd advise taking it to the General chat thread.

We're happy to help, but this isn't a blog. If it's not pony related and it's something we can't all discuss, I wouldn't say it warrants its own thread.

This could just be me though, and I could be in the wrong. Don't think you should mention it at all, but I would have just personally posted something like this in the aforementioned thread.

Agreed. Besides, Derpy said that any rant/depressed thread should be taken up with Foxy or the Community Officers.

I don't think you understood my point. Maybe if I put it in .gif format it would ring a few bells.

[IMG]Ooooh! Underhanded insults... I like your style. Seems to me like you're insinuating that I'm not intelligent enough to understand that your negative attitude is starting to get on my last nerve.
[IMG]I was referring to you in general.
[IMG]It's something that I wanted to say for a very long time.
[IMG]And I do believe you have proved my point. Your underhanded insults really do little to deter me.

Why do you say this? I do not have a negative attitude. It is odd, in fact, because you seem to embrace people with negative attitudes. Maybe if I moaned about my problems you would like me? Give me a good old back rub?

    [IMG]Certainly!
[IMG]However, you call your attitude realism and the "truth". Throwing underhanded insults at me is no civilized way to talk to a man. Put up your debate! Tell me how I'm wrong! All you have proven thus far is that you "Know" that you are right. Let us take this argument to a PM. I tire of your incessant rambling.
[IMG]When all you succeed in doing is making yourself look worse! I do not wish to disturb those around us with these arguments. Should you wish to speak with me in a civilized manner, contact me. I'm sure it will be an INTERESTING conversation!
[IMG]There is also a clear difference between "Negative" Attitudes and "A**hole" Attitudes. Perhaps I should rectify my mistake of calling your attitude negative.
[IMG]But I won't stoop to your level. You are not worthy of my attention. All you do is spread your negativity around. The sign of a true troll, indeed.

    @OP

I write random shorts every week, partly because of tradition, partly because I like to see where my mind takes me, and partly because it amuses me.
Besides, each one of us is our own worst critic, so feel free to send it my way if you want a rating of some sort. I'm harsh on grammar and style though, so beware.

    @Saiko and Manehattenite

Well, then. It seems we have our first troll! Underhanded insults, no actual content, getting people mad...
THIS is why I went through trolling 101, this here revelation is.

    Who said I was mad?
I am merely trying to make Mane state his point out. Trolling 101 was something I went through when I roamed the Chan.
When an inexperienced troll arrives, he must explain his reasoning.
Last Nerve and Mad are two completely different things.
Mad is something I never am.
Last Nerve is something I am quite often. But unlike some people, I have patience.
I know trolls, and I deal with them. Quite well, actually.

True trolling 101 is important. For me, it was suicidally trollbaiting all of the things on /b/.
You can tell how that ended.

As for being mad, I never said that this particular instance was the one where people got mad. I was reffering to our first thread closed for hate (read : trolling). If I remember correctly, it was the same person that caused said rage there as they tried here, so I draw from this the concusion that we have a troll.

Somehow, this makes me almost... proud of EPF. Like a rite of passage, this is.

Respect = Newfound for you, my classy gentleman! I did not expect that post to be mentioned here! Yes, that was the only time I snapped. But that only happens... actually, that has never happened before!
    Tea?

    Quite, good sir.

Also, it seems that we have strayed from the original topic a fair bit. Is this not bizarre?

No, good sir, it has very much strayed from it's original path.
Which is why this thread will be locked sometime soon, by a mysterious force known as an administrator... Not really known well in the world of the Chan.

As likely as said outcome is, I am intrigued by the proposed litany, and as such have a vested interest in keeping this thread alive and well. However, while we wait for the owner of this domicile to return, I turn my attention to the fact that you are a traveler from the far away land of the Chans. I do find that you are quite stable and sane for someone who has been to such a frightening dimension. It seems you are much greater than most men, good sir, to return bearing no scars, if not unscathed!

I came out of the Chan alive and well, without any scars. My good sir, the Chan is nothing but a bunch of anonymous fools fooling around in a foolish manner. The trolls are neverending, and that, my friend, is what makes the Chan so great.
It is a preparation for the real world! Where would I be without the Chan?
Mad, Uncivilized, and uncouth in my manner.
    More tea?

Ah, yes, of course! The mythical "Real World" that so many hold in high regard, and just as many despise.

It is interesting to see a great and powerful sir compare the gods and monsters of this Olympian "real" realm to the mundane, albeit dangerous land of Chan.

Of course, in retrospect, I can see that both have addled their fair share of minds, but t'is such a different process that I had never though compare it! You, good sir, are a genious of the finest class!

Well, this class does not come without a price.
There are those that would constantly undermine me and my classiness. Hence why trolls exist; to counterbalance this class.
I find trolls to be enjoyable. They are like eating Ramen every night. Same old taste and flavor, but it never gets old!

    Does this not SCREAM Class?
Class is what rules the internet. Without it, you are nothing but an anon on the Chan. Thankfully, everyone here has some class.
