I just finished 2 different sequels to cupcakes and I'm reading a third right now. I figure the more grimdark I read, the less it will affect me. So far it's not so bad. I plan on reading all things related to cupcakes.
Note : I do not consider Cupcakes grimdark, since it pretty much has as much relation to it as Saw has to The Tommyknockers (the movie or the novel, take your pic). One is about using as much fake blood as you can. The other actually scared me. On second thought, Cupcakes isn't even about gore, it's about maximizing sleaze-factor and making you hate Pinkie Pie. If you want a good read, stay away from it. Rocket to Insanity was good, although the plot has the potential to be so much better...
Thank you so much. Rocket to insanity I forgot about that. I have to read that one as well. I'm still gonna finish all the cupcakes stuff. These stories will never make me hate Pinkie Pie. It is nigh impossible to hate Pinkie.
Now I could be wrong, but is Rocket to Insanity the fic with the "reborn Rainbow Dash"? A simple yes or no will suffice. If that is not the one and you know of the one I speak of, could you point me in the right direction.

I don't think mine falls into Grimdark that much. Dark vs. Grimdark is weird. Dark is supposed to be the lighter of the two. I hear a lot of people say that Fallout Equestria is a "true" Grimdark fic, or the best of the tag.
