General Chat Thread 3: This Thread Transcends Titles

That's the only other anime/manga I watch/read. Too bad it's 1 chapter a month and still no season 2. AoT moves at much too slow a pace and the fanbase sucks. It has the potential to compete with Naruto Shippuden, but it fails as of now.

 

One Piece is the one true manga.

In other news, I have trouble taking recent Mario Kart games seriously as actual games, since they design the computer AIs specifically to screw with you all the time.

This is not okay with Yami's rules.

 

Mario Kart is one of the few games in existence where multiplayer is more fun than single player.

 

That and Super Smash Bros

 

Yeah... and harder. Much harder reviving yourself.

 

I learned a really good technique in Borderlands 2 to deal with inability to revive my own character.

I called it "Not Dying In The First Place."

 

Wonderful 101's controls are a little unwieldy, but I have the feeling that it'll be really fun when I get it down.

I didn't see it coming, but it makes sense in hindsight. She's really bossy on the outside but a worrier on the inside, and he's really kind-hearted on the outside but tough and rugged on the inside. They compliment each other well. I totally called all the other pairings from day one, though.

 

I just went through all my games and over 20 of them were in the wrong cases. That was fun.

On another note, more mice have moved into my home. I wanted to capture them alive and release them safely away from the house, but since they're destroying my stuff, I want revenge. Whipping out the classic traps.

Today I learned negative Kelvins are a thing and they're hotter than infinite Kelvins. The highest possible absolute temperature is -0.

 

So, it would be fair to say that Emma Watson is -0 Kelvin?

 

If she really were I think she should see a doctor.

 

I went to watch a trailer on youtube and the ad that played before the video was the trailer. Weird.

 

So the antagonists of The Wonderful 101 are GEATHJERK, or "Guild of Evil Aliens Terrorizing Humans with Jiggawatt bombs, Energy beams, Ray guns, and Killer lasers". They're just called "jerks" for short. Also, the game is like Pikmin meets Viewtiful Joe, and that's awesome.

 

So I just watched Snowpiercer.

I'm beginning to suspect that I'm just incapable of liking movies.
