Episode 14: Suited for Success

Bump. Seen this twice already.

 

.....20% joke came out of this, so i guess it's a rather important episode.

 

I was dragged by FiM in the very first two episodes. Fell in love with Luna since then.

But I must say, this is my favorite episode of all. I love this song, and I loved Rarity's dress the best! :3

 

I like this episode for what it stands for. Yes, an episode featuring dressmaking and a fashion show, and I very much enjoyed it. Well, it would have been shocking to myself a few months ago, at least.

Favorite part has to be the the end showing all of Rarity's original creations, the introductions were very artfully done.

 

I love this episode a lot because it was when I finally liked Rarity and realised how complex a character is. As someone in a creative hobby, I relate to the lack of appreciation she gets for doing what she is good at. Then she makes the ultimate act of generosity by compromising her own creative vision to give her freinds what they want. Essentially making her job something she doesn't enjoy anymore. Can't forget this episode is 20% cooler.

 

This episode had my favorite song of the season. This episode was what had me saying "I freaking love Rarity!" It's my favorite episode so far (can't wait for season 2!)

 

Sorry for the bump, but while I was watching the latest My Little Bloopers video, I noticed this:

The perspective on that mirror is confusing me. It certainly looks like it's not being held up by anything, but...

Indeed, the song is Great and also funny =), I love this episode (I love all however XD), and the dresses of Rarity are Beautyfull, I hope they still wearing its sometimes in the Season 2 =)

 

This is one of my favourite episodes. For one, it has my favourite song of the entire series. Secondly, it gave me a whole new perspective of Rarity. Where in earlier episodes, she came across as the typical girly character, this episode showed how she is anything but. She has is talented, has responsibilities and is full of a frustrated creativity that goes unappreciated by her friends.

Also, the music played during the second fashion show is damn funky.

 

If you're talking about this part, i couldn't agree more.

the fashion show!!! was Beautifull!!! and icredible very good improvised how the dresses combine whit the backgrounds!!, an awesome Show Rarity!!! =)

 

I know the song is a take on an actual real life song, but it's very well done, and the singing voices are perfectly tuned.
I still get Winter Wrap-up and Evil Enchantress stuck in my head....heck, I get Giggle at the Ghosties and Cupcakes as well

 

This episode is 20 percent cool.

 

Only 20? I would say that it is about 80% cool.

 

Art of The Dress is my second favorite Season One song and the episode itself is full of quotable lines of dialogue plus it's a Rarity episode so yeah I really like this episode a lot.
