"Ram." A wide shield formed in front of Obsidian, blocking the last fleeing ponies from the fire-wave, to get through safely. He slid back slightly, but the blast didn't directly harm him. The shield faded, and he took a deep breath. "Hawk!" His wings grew out and he shot up into the sky, watching the Destroyer before making a decision for attack. Serketh slid several more daggers out into his hoof. The four massive black-chitin legs erupted from his back, lifting him into the air. "The humans..." The wave went underneath him, having no effect on the armored legs. "That's why I started..." He started walking away from the fighting. "Have fun with your wannabe villain!" he yelled back to the fighters.
The Destroyer sighed. "I'm running short of time, so let's move this along. Eenie, meenie, miney... Sihana." With a roar, he rushed at the goddess, swinging his flaming axe at her neck. As he did, also launched several fireballs at Hope and Nightshade, forcing them to move closer and closer together with each shot.
Sihana ducked at exactly the right moment to save her own neck and returned with a strike to the exposed midsection of the Destoryer. Unfortunally, her foe seemed to block the attack as she quickly moved back to avoid another strike as the goddess as she created a large amount of water that formed into a giant, powerful dragon, which flew towards The Destroyer with the added benefit of stopping all his fire projectiles and saving Nightshade and Hope. Midnight was approaching behind The Destroyer with his greatsword coming downwards towards the shoulders in a single heavy downward strike. Tyberthia was busy nearby assisting Obsidian, floating in the air next to him before The Destoryer took a fancy to him and attacked.
The Destroyer looked at the dragon, and shrugged. "Pretty..." He threw his flaming axe into the center of the summoned beast, causing it to explode into steam. "...But useless." He then turned to face Midnight, clapping the blade of the greatsword in his palms. "And you... sneaking around like a common thief. Did you lose your courage when you lost your better half?" With the sword still clapped tight between his palms, the Destroyer's hands began to glow. The blade soon followed, as flames began moving rapidly down the sword, heading for the pony that held it.
As the steam surrounded them Obsidian had an idea. A massive shadow suddenly formed over the battlefield. The form Obsidian had taken knocked Tyberthia away. His voice boomed through the air "Blue whale!" One of his legs crashed down almost on Midnight and the destroyer. His other three legs came down around the battlefield, but he still towered so tall, most of his body was covered by the rising steam.
With the flames being powerful enough to render his great sword useless before traveling into him, Midnight barely had enough time to detach himself from The Destroyer as he suddenly threw himself backwards a split second before the enormous blue whale form of Obsidian would crash onto his opponent. He at the large cloud of steam that had been left behind by Sihana's original attack, guessing that it would have served as a distraction for Obsidian to crush the human enemy. Midnight then looked back at his large greatsword, which was still on fire. No matter what attempt to repair the blade was now, the unnatural flames burnt the greatsword away. Midnight dropped the useless blade as it fell into the ocean. It wasn't even his weapon, he was merely borrowing it of a demon he killed in Tartarus. Midnight was now going to focus on using what he felt was far more natural for his fighting style, Plague's Scythes.
