What Song Expresses You?

    Hey guys, Saikyo here.

I've been thinking about posting this for a while, so here goes.

What song do you think best expresses you for who and what you are?

It can be anything; Orchestral, Rock, Dubstep, Game, doesn't matter. Pick the one that expresses you best!

Post why it expresses you, and how so. Is it the lyrics? The Rhythm? The simplicity? The complexity? Let us all know!

Be sure to let others know what you think of theirs as well.

My Theme: Hideyuki Fukasawa: Theme of Yang

This piece, in my opinion, fits me well. It's a calm beat, with a nice melody. It's pace is set just right, and it makes me think of setting out and doing things, rather than dwelling on my own problems.
It isn't "Rock" Oriented, which is good for me, since I tend to be a fairly calm natured person, and this song conveys that well.

    So, what's your theme?

This song is my favorite song of all time. It's like an insta happy song. I can't frown, be mad, be sad. I only want to smile. It's genre is new liquid I believe (that's what Yeti called it).

It's nice and calm, but also fills me with energy.

Tool has to have been one of my favorite bands for a while now, I just love how it's so unconventional in comparison to most music - they use a lot of composition techniques most people ignore and create a thoroughly unique sound - I'd like to consider myself creative like that, but that's up to other people to decide really.

For something with lyrics more relevant to me I'd probably have to go with:

@Bounty- yes Tiesto is awsome, I love some of the remakes he has done

I truly do not have one song that expresses me, but the type of music that expresses me is music in the form of Two Steps from Hell, Nightmares on Wax, and others generally calming or background music. I also use this music when writing as it does inspire certain scenes.

I can't go two seconds without listening to music when I'm working on something. I'm too easily distracted by the things around me. So I can relate to your point.

    What music personifies me?

If anything, it's two pieces of music.
The first is of course this:

To quote one of the coments,
I think no explanation is needed.
The second piece is, coincidentally, the next in the series of uploads.

It's basically the polar oposite of the first theme. If the previous embodies the chaotic side of my mind, then this is best discribed as perfect order. If you let your mind wander, this second theme almost sounds like gears, ticking away...

    >MFW Pixel posted one of BPL's songs

Well, to be perfectly honest, this:

Every single beat feels like it relates to me. Even the NAME as well!

It reminds me of the sky, my favorite thing in the whole wide world, that I need to try and stay cheery and strong, and what my goals are. :33

There are several I could have chosen, I'd say at least 20, likely 30, possibly 40, although this is what I ended up choosing.

It's simply beautiful. It goes through just about every emotional I feel, as well as being a genuinely good song.

Never going to phase me, never going to bring me down, I will stand in the face of hate and smile.

I think this song fits me, I would've done Stronger by Kanye West, but this is probably a better example.

I just rick rolled myself. This makes me sad.

Also, after reviewing all of the songs, I declare Code Monkey the winner. Not even 4 gentlemen and robocop can withstand monkey grammar!

    It just does.

EDIT: Actually I posted this without really listening to the song. Don't get me wrong, I've heard this song like 1,000 times. However, I haven't heard it recently. This song used to describe me, and it spoke to my soul, but then again, I was kinda emo back then lol.

Now I dunno. I think this song is apt:

It describes my life as it is now: bored, frustrated, directionless, at a standstill...waiting. Yet still hopeful.

It also has a good beat. =P
