"Cupcakes" and "Rainbow Factory" are two horror fan fictions based on the characters of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. For their brutality, they're classified as My Little Creepypastas, like "Lil' miss Rarity" and "SHED.MOV (Butchershy)", which are less famous.
Here you can read "Cupcakes": http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Cupcakes
Here you can read "Rainbow Factory": http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Rainbow_Factory
    WARNING: THEY'RE BOTH VERY BLOODY

What do you think about these fan fictions?
I liked them, because I like Creepypasta, but I preferred "Cupcakes", because it has more pathos and I found it more interesting and exciting.

Didn't like them. I love creepypastas though, but I feel like those two were just senseless gore shows that relied on shock value.

I've never read Rainbow Factory and I've only read part of Cupcakes because as soon as it got to the gross part, I stopped. I can't handle horror :Boo:

I read both of them, and I didn't like either of them, but I prefer Cupcakes over Rainbow Factory. Rainbow Factory seemed not as well written as Cupcakes.

They are both hilarious. I laughed my ass of when I read rainbow factory. I don't understand why people find them scary.

I don't want to ever read them.

    Sorry?

There was no option for that in the poll so I couldn't vote in it.

    Sorry again?

Why don't you want to read them? They are better then most other fan fics.

I don't want to have nightmares and I never really liked the things known as "creepypastas" in the first place.

I didn't find them frightening, just mildly disturbing.

I didn't like them for the same reason I didn't like the "Reflections" arc in the official comics.

I have read a lot of creepypastas. Also Rainbow Factory and Cupcakes. I really didn't find it that scary. I have read fan made fanfictions about it. So, I don't find it that scary to me. Cause I've read a lot of times anyways.

Again... sorry. I just don't seem to do well with horror. I can watch other people play horror games (because it's funny to see their reactions) but I can't play the games myself.

Same with horror movies. I have trouble sleeping after watching them.

    So... yeah...

I read Cupcakes an absolute age ago and didn't really like it. May have to re-read it at some point to get a more accurate opinion on it... I can't remember if I've read Rainbow Factory or not but, the idea of pony creepypasta just doesn't appeal to me. It's not that I can't handle horror as a genre, in fact I really like horror but, there wasn't anything terrifying about Cupcakes beyond the bloodbath. While scary, that doesn't appeal to me as literature because it's not all that inventive.

I do like a handful of Pokémon creepypastas based around Lavender Town and there have been one or two Legend of Zelda creepypastas I've really enjoyed - in general I just steer clear of these things, though.

I don't see the appeal in overly gory stuff, so I haven't read them and I don't plan to.

Neither of the two were awfully creative in their writing style. Coming from a person who has written bad fan fiction and recognizes that most fan fiction are lacking in the skillful writing department, I think they're highly overrated both as horror and as literature.

Then again, most of the mainstream stuff that passes for horror is overrated. There are precious few psychological thrillers being made, just more jumps scares and gore porn.
