I hate alicorns because they are over powered as hell. They are gods and can fly and use magic. Normal ocs can only have one of those power or none.

So he was born an alicorn but at the same time not. That makes sense. Anyway the problem I have with his oc is that he didn't become an alicorn by earning it, rather he is an alicorn because he was born with a wing and a horn. (witch is impossible by the way)

Besides, even if someone's OC is a black and red Alicorn Bat Pony with the most Mary-Sueish backstory ever, it's still their OC, not yours. The problem is that alicorns are gods. I don't care if you're born one or if you became one. You're still over powered as hell.
Heres the problem with your statement when in MLP:FIM did they ever state Alicorns are gods? to my knowledge from watching every episode it never once stated they were gods they were Princesses now before you bring up their age. Magic, youth spells spells for immortality they magic for everything also there osthe whole Alicorns could have a longer lifespan or the age slower though those two sound them but I digress the point they are not gods the show never stated they were so they are not. as for power years of training just because a Alicorn is born an Alicorn does not make them over powered it just means they are half Unicorn half Pegasus they can fly and use magic simple as that.
The show also never stated that you can be born an alicorn. And even if they aren't gods, they are still over powered. They can both fly and use magic. Why is this over powered you ask? Well, it's because a normal, not over powered OCs can only use one of those powers or none of them. And if you can use both of those powers then you have a advantage in a fight. A unicorn can use magic but can't fly. A pegasus can fly but can't use magic. An earth pony can't fly or use magic. An alicorn on the other hand can use magic and fly at the same time.
YOu say the show never said they can be born the problem with that is genetics if any of the Princesses were to have child the probability of them being Alicorns is 90% because the mother will over power the father in the offspring's genetic make up as for Unicorns and earth ponies not flying did you forget the episode Sonic Rainboom were everyone goes to Cloudsdale to support Rainbow dash and Twilight through a experiential spell gave Rarity wings so yes they can fly with the help of magic.
First of, thanks for proving your own argument wrong. You say that alicorns aren't gods because the show nevet said it. Then you say that alicorns can be born alicorns even though the show never said they could because of "genetics". Second: Earth ponies can fly with the help of magic. They cant use magic. Third: There is no male alicorn so the princesses can't have kids.
