1 and 2 kinda go hand in hand lol. Mostly I learned the technique for avoiding the root which somehow was not as common sense as maybe step 3.
I always cut the top and the root off, then peel off the skin and the outer layer. I never have a problem with stinging eyes, and I use a lot of onions.
I started with peeling the skin, then cut off the top. Then I cut around the root and through it last. Maybe the reverse order works 'cause we're in different hemispheres, idk. I only have the stinging eyes problem 'cause I'm a noob.
I started watching Naoki Urasawa's Monster this week. I've only seen 4 episodes so far, but, it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING so far!! I can't wait to see how this series turns out!!
Thanks! Asami is fantastic. I've also been identifying more and more as female, so I decided to switch from an (admittedly awesome) male avatar to one that was maybe a little bit more in line with my current mode of self-expression: not that it really needed to be, but just for fun.
I keep wanting to watch/read that show. But I'm too far behind on everything else to ever get to it in my queue. Last thing I watched was Mekakucity Actors. And it was...... yeah.
I've never had it, but I've heard that it's got a taste and texture a bit like dark meat chicken, with a slight gamey flavor.
I temporarily lost my mind outside of Walmart and gave a homeless guy five bucks. Rather than thank me, he asked if I really needed the twenty that he had seen in my wallet. Thank you, greedy beggar, for reminding me of why I hate people.
He probably wasn't homeless to begin with. I've heard of people pretending to be homeless, just to con people.
