Does anyone Like playing bay ponies? At all? I know it's strange but I can't find anypony who likes them.
I think I'm the only one with Bat Pony OCs on this site. There might be more, but I can't think of any.
Bat Ponies have always interested me as well. Unfortunately, I have not created a Bat Pony OC. It's kind of hard to create one of those. For me at least.

I thought they were fairly popular too, until I realized that I'd never seen another Bat OC on this site.
For me, it's hard to create one that isn't a little... grimdark in a way. At least in terms of what it is that they eat. I might be confusing them for vampire ponies though. What do bat ponies eat anyway? Regular food like all the other ponies? That's really my main struggle with them...
There's quite a bit of fanon about Bat Ponies, some of it contradictory. -Bat Ponies are a separate race. (Some AU continuities have them as Dragon/Pony hybrids, most notably the Ask Pun Tumblr comic.) -Bat ponies are generally depicted as living in mountain caves (semi-canon), or in the village of Hollow Shades. -Bat Ponies can see in the dark. Additionally, some of them have the ability to use echolocation. -Bat Ponies are generally loyal to Princess Luna, and often join the Night Guard. -Bat Ponies love fruit, especially mangoes. -They are generally depicted with fangs. -They are always depicted with tufted ears and catlike pupils. It should be noted that Flutterbat was not a true Bat Pony, but rather a Pegasus/Vampire Fruit Bat hybrid. The only true Bat Ponies shown so far were the pair of guards pulling Luna's chariot in Luna Eclipsed.

Don't worry, it won't be as "text-heavy" as my other OC's. :derpe: Those ones are only like that because I use them on another MLP:FiM forum that wants more specifics when it comes to characters. I always pull my OC's out of thin-air as I need them, yet I find I have never made a bat-pony... in my proper memory at least. I wonder why that is... I have 2 deer. At least 1 gryphon. I have a spider god for putter's sake. No bats. Huh.
