Marcus thought for a moment then clicked on the tv and navigated to Discovery Family. And sure enough My little pony was on so clicked onto the channel and sat down to watch with the filly in his lap
"Like most things in the past, the richer you are, the better everything you have. so in the past the poor got terrible clothes because they could hardly afford anything." Jennifer then turned to the chapter on 1940's and 50's womens fashion. "These are the types of clothing I'm currently working on for the fashion week. "I'm sure, my designs will end up better with a bit of your personal fashion magic." She said with a smile, her Arm wrapping around rarity as she continued to read the book.
Jaime decided to show her his dream. He show her a few images of space ships and said, "I always wanted to go to the moon." He said in a happy tone. "I've been working and studying hard for it. Is my dream to go."
Luna blinked, "I'd take you to the moon but... unfortunately neither of us would ever be able to breathe. However, I can in the dreamscape."
Rarity blnked, "Still, this fashion is hideous! Ugh! I can't even look at it!" She dropped the book and turned to another more decent page, "That's much better, though still retro." The filly nodded, "Yeah yea yea!" ((If I missed anyone please tell me))
Jaime saw that Jen sent him a PM and replied back saing that they will be there as soon as they could. He switched off the computer. "Looks like I found someone who also ordered a pony." He said to Luna. "And about the dreamscape, I'll like you to do it, but untill night."
"It seems, We've got someone coming over. I'll leave you to catch up on reading and get more stuff for you." Jennifer said as she turned off the TV and headed out the room leaving Rarity to continue reading up on stuff. In the meantime Jennifer collected some books from her room on a range of subjects. The book titles were: -The encyclopedia of 20th century history -A black widow graphic novel -The hunt for equality: A guide to the ongoing quest for equality from the suffragettes to king and LGBT. -A day old women's fashion and celebrity magazine. Once collected Jennifer put them on the coffee table and headed into the kitchen to get some stuff to eat settling on a garlic baguette. She put it in the oven and once it was done placed it next to the books. "So anything interesting while I was grabbing some food?"
Desmond looked at the ponies eyes for a moment, he then let out a sigh, "Okay, do you know how you got here in the first place?'
"Celestia said something like we would get to visit this place for a while, and we'd be choosen at random!" she blinked, sitting down and looking at him curiously, "Do you not like me?" - - Auto Merge - - Luna gave a nod, "I can, though I warn you it may not be as interesting as you might think it would be..." She shuddered, her mane dropping slightly as her eyes closed. Rarity blinked and she nodded, "Yes dear, though unlike Twilight I am not book worm. I don't think I'll be able to read all of these in one night." She looked up, "Oh, just some water would be nice."
"No! No, I like you its just that your a... cartoon character..." Desmond trailed off in his own thoughts. 'Ok, calm down man, you got this, a mare sitting in front of you, what to do what to do!?"
"Well, as long as you know so. Also know that I'm not entierly sure if I can alter your dreams,, though I will try." She looked around, "Is there any fruit around that we-I may eat?" Derpy cocked her head, "What's a cartoon..?"
"No, I know what TV is, but I'm not sure what a cartoon is." She yawned and looked at his bed, "I was in the middle of a mail run when it happened, would you mind if I took a bit of a rest?"
"Yes, let's go to the kitchen." He replied standing up from his seat. He lead her to the kitchen "Grab anything you want." He said. The kitchen was full of food.
