I had this idea for a few seconds and kinda liked the result I got. Try this: Take your OC and make him or her into a CCG card. It can be a Mane but any will do. Bonus points if you can not only make it fit the mechanics of the game but make it seem balanced too. So, to kick us off, I'll do my OC: Tyro. Within the head cannon for this character (which I am writing with the speed of a glacier right here), Tyro is meant to be an 'interpretation' of the Kitsune that tries to be a medium between the Internet version and the Traditional one. Whether I succeed or not is questionable. Still, Tyro is meant to be an expert in monsters while also possessing the ability to absorb energy from almost anything containing it to fuel his more exotic abilities. Considering I like my Troublemaker based deck, I figured I'd give making a Mane that fit that deck a go. What do you think? Boosted side coming soon. (Made using Magic Set Editor and this handy set of stuff for MLP CCG and a little arty-fartiness.) So, come on! What would you lot do? Don't have to be as fancy as mine but I'd still be interested to hear them.
I have no idea. Probably something involving either: 1. Losing sanity 2. Having controversial opinions 3. Being addicted to the Persona series or 4. Dropping a pipe bomb/being the best in the world (since I still occasionally feel like I'm the 'CM Punk' of the internet at times) I don't know specifics about CCG stuff anymore. :ahh:
Awww...OK. Still, the Pipebomb stuff sounds like Major Control. Like either moving opponent's friends or dismissing them with a hefty bomb!
I'd be a low cost, low stat, with a special effect: coin flip anytime it would be destroyed, if you win the flip, it's not destroyed. If you're lucky, it can last a long time and it's low stats will add up eventually, but if you aren't it can be taken out very quickly. Obviously a major tactic would be to enhance it, so it can do more while it's up, or you need to flip to keep it up less often, with the appeal then being the low cost. The reason being my character can see the outcomes of decisions and situations, but will often predict the wrong outcome. 50/50 chance of him seeing his defeat and avoiding it. That's not insanely op is it?
So, if it was dismissed, a coin flip would negate that? Actually, that's kinda unusual but would likely bump your card's cost up a little bit because that power seems pretty powerful. Even so, it doesn't seem too OP as I can imagine your card only being a 1 power card. But I imagine being entry level would be a good idea. Hmm...Seems interesting, Dreamer.
