Desmond sat back, watching the fight go on and on. He was enjoying it, Dawn Star sitting next to him watching as well. He remembered Dawn Star being his very second Pokemon, they both had troubles they were going through and when he had caught her, she didn't stop fighting. As an Eevee, Dawn Star was ferocious, she did not want anything to do with Desmond what so ever, until the day they had their first trainer battle. They lost because Dawn Star would not listen, and because of Desmond's lack in experience. The taste had lingered in their mouth, and they wanted that loss to be a win. Years and years of training, Dawn Star finally evolved when digging one day finding a fire stone. Months after Dawn Star evolved, she was faster, stronger, better than her original form. They had the trainer fight once more, and finally won it. But that was the past, and the present is now. He had three Pokemon, three of which he would never in his life replace. This fight reminded him of the first time he had fought with those three, and they were good memories.
Micheal noticed Desmond and decided that a battle would be a good idea. he flew down on bliss and called her back while jumping off in front of him. "so...thats a nice flareon you got there. wanna see my pokemon and you can show me yours? and maybe we can have a battle?" he took out his pokeballs and opened them all showing desmond Rudder,Bliss,and Gracidea. "and if you're not down for a battle we can let them play with each other...while we talk....so....what do you say?"
"Thunder Fang!" Poochey bit Froakie as it hit him. Both of them collapsed, KO'ed. "Uh... Wait. What happened? Who won?" Rickel walked over to the knocked out Pokemon, and picked up Poochey.
"Wow, you're pretty good!" Grav took out Froakie's Pokeball and put him back inside. "I'm heading to Pic town so I could buy some Pokeballs. Then, I'm gonna catch a new Pokemon! Smell ya later." Gravity said as he headed to Route 1.
"Aight I have not had a battle in some time, I guess I could round and round." Desmond stood up and stretched his arms and back, "you ready Dawn Star? " The flareon answered with a gleeful' flare' .
"That was... interesting. I guess we tied our first battle? What a weird guy. Guess we should go to Pic town too." Poochey barked happily. "Alright. And we'll get us a new pokemon, too!" He laughed and rushed off after Grav. (where is this region's desert?)
Gravity headed for Pic town's Pokemon Center, where he healed up his fainted Froakie. He then headed for the Pokemart and bought five Pokeballs. Gravity headed for Route 2, he heard that some strong Pokemon lived there.
(Technically, a desert is just a area which gets little to no rainfall year round, like the North and South Poles.)
"Fine then," Desmond said, grabbing out three specially styled pokeballs. The first was blood red with flames all around it. The second was deep blue with waves, while the third was silver with the steel symbol at the top, "Kyoto, Dawn Star and Real Steel."
Gravity entered Route 2. A path full of bug catchers, toddlers and youngsters who constantly brag about their Top Percentage Ratatta's. Before he challenges the trainers, Gravity steps in a patch of grass and encounters a Skorupi. Gravity sent out Froakie to weaken it. "Froakie, use bubble!" Gravity said as Froakie shot bubbles at the opposing Skorupi draining its heath to about half. Gravity then chucked a Pokeball at the Skorupi, catching it after a few wobbles. Gravity went back to the Pokemon Center and healed his Skorupi up so that he could level grind both Skorupi and Froakie.
Rickel wandered around Pic after healing Poochey, admiring the city. "This place is a lot different from back home." He walked past a building, and as he got to the alley next to it, a thug in dark clothes jumped out. "Stop! I'm taking your pokemon, kid!" The guy held up a pokeball and a cacnea came out. It looked scared and injured. "Uh... uh... uh..." Poochey jumped in front of Rickel and growled angrily. "R-right. Poochey, prepare to batt-" Rickel's pocket started to glow, and he suddenly froze in his position. The stone in his pocket flew out and landed in front of Poochey, scaring him and making him run for cover behind Rickel. A purple mist flowed out of the crack in the stone, and took form as a flat circle with a green face. It cackled like a crazed man, making the cacnea cower. "Stupid pokemon! Use Needle Arm!" The cacnea cautiously started preparing to attack. "Will-O-Wisp." Rickel said in a voice not entirely his own. The spiritomb sent a wave of blue fire at the cacnea, doing no direct damage, but burning it. "Attack already!" The cacnea started running towards spiritomb. "Confuse Ray." A yellow ball of energy shot out of spiritomb, colliding with cacnea and making it stop moving and spin around on one foot. "Pursuit." The spiritomb vanished and reappeared behind the cacnea, and slammed it's face into cacnea's back, knocking out the cacnea. The thug looked in awe at Rickel, and the spiritomb. "This pokemon ain't worth the work I wasted to steal it. You take it, and leave me alone you creep!" The man threw the pokeball for cacnea towards Rickel, and Poochey jumped and caught it in it's mouth. The spiritomb faded back into it's rock, and went back into Rickel's pocket, and slowly Rickel recovered. "D-did we win?" Poochey dropped the ball at Rickel's feet and barked happily. Rickel looked down, saw the ball and the KO'ed cacnea, then looked around and saw no trainers. "Oh goodness! Ok! We're gonna get you help little buddy." He picked up the pokeball and returned the cacnea, before running to Pic's pokemon center. - - Auto Merge - - (Also, what is the name of the evil team?)
From a distance, Grav saw Rickel enter the Pokemon Center. "Now's my chance to beat 'em!" Grav ran towards Pic Town and barged into the Pokemon Center. "Rickel, I challenge you to a battle!" he shouted making everyone in the Pokemon Center stare at him awkwardly.
"Uh... A-alright! You got it!" Rickel looked around. "Outside. After I heal." Rickel quickly got his pokemon restored and ran outside, letting the cacnea out of it's pokeball. It looked around, terrified, but when it looked back and saw Rickel, it seemingly cheered. "Alright little guy. We're gonna make a great team, the three of us!"
Grav exited the building, ready to battle Rickel. "Go, Skorupi!" Gravity said as he threw down Skorupi's Pokeball. "Skorupi, Pin missile!" Skorupi shot three sharp spikes out of its tail at Cacnea, the first one taking away half of it's HP and the second KO'ing it. The third one fell out of the air and landed on the ground beside a building.
(Cacnea is 2 levels higher than skorupi. Even with being super effective, that should not have happened. Don't make yourself so OP.) "Jeez! Dude! Slow down! We just started. Don't you want to remember your battles. Don't you appreciate the work your pokemon do for you? Use Leech Seed!" Cacnea spit out a storm of seeds which stuck to Scorupi.
