(Grav had just left the pokemon center, so I'll just use my last post.) Rickel rode on Poochey's back through Gravity and into route 3, passing the gym by to try and strengthen his pokemon up more first. He hopped off Poochey's back and walked into the grass, looking around. He looked up and smiled. "Y'know, it's a real nice day out. Look at those... cloud?" There was a lone cloud in the sky. It was small and moving incredibly fast... straight at Rickel. "P-Poochey! Use Tackle!" Poochey jumped at the swablu, knocking it out of Rickel's path. "Quickly, while it's recovering, use Thunder Fang!" Poochey leapt at the swablu, biting it with electrified fangs. "Say, sonny. Do you know how to catch a pokemon?" An old man seemingly appeared beside Rickel, making him jump. "Here, let me show ya. Since ya don't have any pokeballs, I'll use one of mine, on the house!" Rickel stared at the man in confusion. "Now, ya need to weaken a pokemon first, which you've done here. Then, ya throw your ball. Remember, ya can't catch other people's pokemon!" The old man threw a pokeball at the swablu, which shook three times and captured the small bird. The old man walked over to the ball, picked it up, and tossed it to Rickel. "Now make sure to pick up some more balls on your own from a mart, ya'hear." The old man walked off down the route before Rickel could even reply. Rickel walked back into town, holding the pokeball. "I guess this is... mine now? Alright. Guess I'll call you Puffball. Alright, guess that's enough for that... Isn't there a gym here?" Rickel got to the pokemon center just as Grav was leaving.
Cordelia clenched Regice's Pokeball tightly. She wasn't going to let some creep have her Pokemon. "Gallade, use Drain Punch!" Gallade's arm glowed green, and ran right at Metagross
(Hanson) *taps keystone on Mega Cane* -Metagross mega evolves- Metagross, use Meteor Mash. -Metagross's arms glew yellow as it charged at Gallade, prepared to embed both of them into Gallade's chest- -Metagross's HP was brought down a moderate amount- -Gallade Fainted!-
After a few hours of level grinding, Grav headed for the Pokemon Center. As Grav entered, he saw Rickel. "Hey you! Time to resume our battle!" Gravity said.
"Oh. Right! You'll be a good challenge before I go to the gym." Rickel walked out of the center and let his swablu out to battle. "Ready when you are, dude!"
"Things have changed since last time! Go Skorupi! Gravity yelled as he threw out Skorupi's Pokeball. "I already got my badge from the gym! You should be easy to beat"
"Gallade!" Cordelia returned her Pokemon. "Go Sableye!" She threw an Ultra Ball, and the small purple Pokemon came out. "Use Will-O-Wisp!" -Sableye's Prankster!- -Metagross has been burned!- "Sableye, get ready to defend!" Sableye nodded, and hunkered down into a defensive position.
"Guess that means I'm falling behind. Can't have that! Swablu, use sing!" Swablu started chirping softly, trying to lull Skorupi to sleep.
"Don't fall for it Skorupi!" Skorupi, nearly fell asleep until it woke up to the sound of Grav's screaming. "Use bite, Skorupi!" Skorupi latched onto Swablu and bit onto swablu's wing.
"Swablu! Use Fury Attack!" Swablu pecked Skorupi multiple times until it let go of it's wing, hitting four times.
"You there, the one with the cane." Wes said. "Leave now or you will be kicked out by the security officers."
(Hanson) You seriously think that a defensive position would really raise your pokemon's defenses? How childish. Metagross, return. *retrieves Metagross* *sends out Heatran* Heatran, Magma Storm. -Heatran uses Magma Storm on Sableye- -Sablete took considerably heavy damage- -Sableye was trapped in swirling magma!- -A bit of Sableye's HP was depleted by Magma storm-
A bunch of security officers barged inside the room where the battle was taking place. "Everybody! Exit the building now!" the officer yelled as hundreds of people crammed through the doors, desperately trying to escape. "Team RB Leader Hanson, get on the floor and leave the innocent woman alone!"
An Emboar charged out and knocked Wes to the side. "You're gonna let Mr. Hanson do his work." Sky walked out from behind the Emboar. The Emboar rolled around the fighting duo, leaving a ring of fire keeping the security guards away.
Wes picked himself off the grumd and threw a timer ball out. "Regirock, come out and use stone edge!" Regirock did as said. The ground beneath Emboar rised into the air and hit Emboar on the torso.
"Sorry, cupcake. I have no interest in a real battle right now. It's just my job to keep you away while Mr. Hanson works. Earthquake." The Emboar recovered from the hit and struck the ground hard, making a crevice open up beneath Wes and his pokemon, dropping them in it. She walked over to the edge and looked down. "Maybe next time, runt!"
"Damn... Heattrancant be burned or poisoned.. And none of my pokemon counter it... "Sableye, return!" Cordelia broke into a sprint, trying to get away from the man. She had gotten into a narrow corridor, and sent out Skarmory. "Use Spikes!" Skarmory flapped its wings, scarring extremely sharp steel over he floor, hopefully covering her escape.
(Back to the battle between Grav and Rickel.) "Skorupi, bite again!" Skorupi latched onto Swablu's wing and bit it again but this time, landing a critical hit.
"Enough of that! Swablu, steel wing!" Swablu's wings turned hard as steel, trapping Skorupi in them. "Bring that bug down to size!" Swablu swept down, scraping the trapped Skorupi along the ground until the steel effect wore off, it then took off back to Rickel's side. The attack did massive damage to Skorupi, almost knocking it out.
