"oh no...no no no!" Azure staggered backwards "wha-no...I-NO!" she started crying and cowering on the floor crying. (don't change her just yet...i've got something in store!)
Backing away, BladeRunner could see the three enemies, The Jackpot, The Fox, and the Original Nightmare. His Carnage Blade bursted into flames once more as he stood at the ready for the battle. He could not help but feel out numbered at this point, whilst the other pony was on the ground in fear, "Get up!" He ordered her, still facing the three, "Get up now, is this how you wish to die?!"
"I just-" her fear and mixed emotions triggered something inside her. something malicious...she was still in her cowering position but soon she gave a small dark chuckle as the white stripes in her hair turned to black. "Well...I have no problem with dying...but...not yet!" her horn glowed an evil black as she summoned a spear to her side as she got up next to Blade. "Now...i would enjoy killing you all...but i agreed to get the nightmare itself,nothing more...and these three are simply small fractions of it's power in a physical form. now,Purifying isn't really my thing so i'm weak at it but with three of us casting the spell it should turn them back to their old selves." her horn glowed briefly as she sent the spell to the two of them telepathically.
Jackpot found herself on the Moon, the actual moon. She didn't know how, but she was. She looked around its cold barren surface to find Tyro sitting to himself. Her injuries were healed as well for a strange reason, the magic making her completely healthy. She trotted over to Tyro, hoping to help him
((Wow. Things are going pretty horribly aren't they? :ahh) ((What you did there gave me HUGE Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal deja-vu.)) What the heck was going on now?! He's a KING all of a sudden?! He knew this was fake. He knew it. But... if he tried to push it back now, who knows what the consequences would be. He decided to play along. One of them was offering to be alone with him. He would try to figure things out then. "Er... yes of course. You can help me pick something out. This is a momentous occasion after all. Shall we?" offered Nova to the Bat Pony. Nova, hopefully with this other bat pony in tow, made his way towards his "royal chambers." As he walked, he attempted to look at all of the other bat ponies in the room out of the corner of his eyes occasionally. He was attempting to stay on guard and see what they were doing and, in particular, the looks on their faces. He was also trying his best to keep an eye out for any possible ambushes...
Nightmare Nova took the advantage. Using his lightning speed, he swipes and kicks for Darkness' chest. He tries for a follow up tackle, hoping to shove him into the ground. Nightmare Jackpot cackles, her red and black mane wildly spiking around her head as she holds her head up high, the shadowy nine-tailed fox by her side. As her own velvety coat shimmers with every strut of her new, taller form, the Unicorn's now magnificent and towering horn glows with a distressing malice. "Purification!" Jackpot cries out, a small mocking giggle leaking into her voice. "No, no! The idiots with the little coloured, glowing necklaces learned that we don't take kindly to having our new forms taken from us." Jackpot's horn unleashes a jolt of energy. It crashes at Azure's hooves. A playful warning shot. "Now, I'm sure Blade as all the intention of carving through me and my assosiate with his demonic butter knife so...Tyro, dear: give them a challenge, would you?" Tyro's eyes begin to glow a haunting white as he cackles to himself. Both the fox and the unicorn begin to vanish. Their forms become part of a violet haze which washes away almost all trace of they were there. They soon disappear before their eyes, masked by the Nightmare Kitsune's illusion. Tyro was shaking, sobbing slowly. His breathing was labored, as if the effort of what he was doing - which was keeping his head buried in the dust - was highly difficult. A slow whine from the fluffy mass was cut short as his head looked up. And looked right at Jackpot. And yet not at Jackpot. It was like he was watching something invisible right in front of where Jackpot was. It wasn't even clear if he could see her. "T-Toivo..." He said, his eyes widening, a little tear rolling down his cheek as he stood up. "I can leave Equestria. I can explore again. I'm free..." The fox then slowly sinks into landscape. With little speed at first as the ground had, initially, little viscosity. But then it picked up. The dust became like a tar as Tyro steps forwards, trying to walk in it but only managing to tumble forwards and out of sight. He slips underneath the landscape ungracefully, tumbling from view. There was a few moments of silence. Total silence. Then birdsong. There was a strange warmth. A radiance that you only ever get when lying out in the sun. She could feel a soft breeze on her coat. Yet there seemed to be no birds or trees or even atmosphere...So, where would that be coming from? (Yay? No idea what your on about with Yu-Gi-Oh.) On the way there, as he moved through the hallways, he noticed royal guards standing to attention as he passed by. Some were Unicorns, some Earth Ponies, some Pegasai...Somewhere Bat Ponies. All standing guard with no quibble or issue. They were even chatting and joking with each other as Nova passed them by. There was another clattering of hooves in the opposite direction. The form of Princess Celestia was unmistakable. As she approached, she smiles warmly. "Nova, so good to see you feeling better. I cannot wait to here your thoughts on the Bat Pony Festival preparations. I'm sure you and Twilight will be able to make something truly special." She continues past him to...somewhere. "I'll talk to you later. I have a few things to tie up." The Bat Pony leading him looks back: "The notes on everything done so far is in your room. You can read them while I pick out your outfit for this evening." (I can be an insidious and maniacal maniac when I want to be, can't I?)
Darky was pushed back a little becouse of the kicks. "****! He is fast!" He said as he quickly recovered. He noticed that he was about to tackle him, so he wait for him to do it, then jumped to a side, swiftly dodging it and striking back almost inmediately with his shield so he could then attack him with his sword.
Jackpot took a seat next to Tyro, feeling the strange warm feeling from inside. She looked at Tyro sadly as she looked at Equestria across the obsidian sea of space. She sighed deeply as she felt the tears inside of her well-up.
BladeRunner stopped with what he was doing, every thing, but kept his defense at ready. He concentrated, using the vibrations of the earth, the shifting of the wind, hearing, smelling, timing. He was being cautious now that these two can hide, but not for long. He got the basic idea of their pattern of which way they were moving, which was not easy at all. "Azure," BladeRunner said, still keeping his concentration, "When I say go, move out of the way and be ready to strike."
"As you wish, but just so you know...I'm not Azure...I'm someone else simply...using a vessel...as you would say." she prepared her spear for a striking position and looked around cautiosuly with her blood red iris'.
((Yes. Yes you can be. :derpe) Things just kept getting worse. Now Princess Celestia herself was involved in this "fake reality." Nova could only stand there dumbfounded, shocked, and tense. He couldn't say anything to the Princess before she ended up walking away from him. He tried to quickly shake it off before anypony noticed that he was slightly shaking a little now too. He was legitimately beginning to freak out a little. He could only hope no pony noticed... Either way... he followed the bat pony into his "royal chambers" and looked for the notes and a place to sit down so he could read them. Assuming the bat pony was already looking for something for him to wear, Nova decided to try to multi-task. Once he found a place to sit, he would sit down and begin to read the notes. Actually reading them. It was possible that these "notes" might contain some information that he could use to make this "fake reality" collapse. While he did that, he attempted to make conversation with the bat pony that was probably now looking for something for him to wear. He had to make his conversation sound as casual as possible, and not try to arouse suspicion. Not yet anyway. Either way... his stomach was in knots. He had a bad feeling about this "fake reality." The bat pony had called him "King." But Princess Celestia was still here. There's was only one way to find out for sure... "Princess Celestia herself came too? I'm surprised she was able to make the trip, considering how busy her, Princess Luna, and Princess Twilight usually are. I am glad they made it though. How has Canterlot been faring anyway?" asked Nova to the other bat pony. Nova was hoping the answer wouldn't be what he was fearing it would be. But... if it ending up being the worst-case-scenario... he'd confront the "fake reality" right here, right now... ((Okay I'm trying to find something here that contradicts with actual reality that shouldn't exist with this "fake reality." I'll keep looking, and when I find it, you'll bet I'll be breaking this creepy reality!! :crazy)
(I has plan. I'm gonna roll here because this fight has gone on waaaay too long and RP fights like this don't always see a victor emerge very easily. So, I'm going to exact a little order on this. It's going to be my own d20 system I came up with. So, trust me on this and I'll be totally honest with the rolls. The idea is that its an advantage system. So, as a rough idea of the situation, there are chances for different outcomes and the more you seem to have the advantage by way of the detail you give in your posts such as hidden plans, abilities, strategies and such, it builds up a quick graph of what's likely to happen. The more likely that the character is aware of the action, or ready for it, the larger range the action has on the d20 die. Thus, this is less likely. The less aware a character seems or the more hidden a character is, the smaller range it's given and so, it's less likely. So, it's more likely for me to hit someone with a bullet if I simply point and shoot with a gun. So, that is given a large range on the die, with the rest of the space taken up with the chance that I miss. However, I lower the likelihood of me hitting someone if I make a noise first. That tips them off so they can try and move out of the way. So, the range were I miss is increased and the chance I hit is lowered. It sounds weird, I'm sure...If your not interested in the mechanics, there's a rough explanation of the outcome after every result. Any questions, pop them in the OOC. But, if you don't like it, I can rewrite all of this and we can leave the system alone. He lands in a sweep of his wings, managing only to look up and shift just enough to avoid the full brunt of Darkness' blade. However, the weapon shears through his relatively delicate wing, carving a large cut down the membrane that causes Nova to screech in pain, stumbling backwards. "You miserable little...aaaah!" Nova bares his teeth, clearly infuriated. With a reckless burst of speed, Nova goes to sink his teeth into him. A dark power emanating from the Nightmare Bat Pony as he charges. (Battle Advantage Roll (d20): [(1-10) Nightmare Nova Gives A Heavy Bite] [(11 - 16) Darkness Defends Strike, Allowing For Attack][(17 - 20) Darkness Lands a Finishing Attack - Defeats Nightmare Nova] Nightmare Nova's bite will lead to Darkness being possessed while Darkness's advantages will allow him to join up with the others. Result: 20 - Nova is allowed to deliver an attack that will render Nightmare Nova too weak to fight at the moment.) (Battle Advantage Roll (d20): [(1-7) Tyro Surprise Attack, Set Up Bonus to Jackpot, Defensive Bonus to Blade Runner] [(8 - 10) Tyro and Jackpot Double Team] [(11 - 17) Blade Runner Counters Tyro Attack, Set Up Bonus to Azure] [(18 - 20) Blade Runner Counters Tyro, Follow Up Attack by Azure, Set Up Bonus to Jackpot] Tyro's Illusion Allows him to attack from any direction without warning, likely only catching Azure off-guard at all as she wouldn't be waiting for it. Set Up Bonus allows Nightmare Jackpot to take aim at a target, readying a spell. A Counter allows Blade to disarm Tyro's attack and strike right back. A Set Up Bonus to Azure would be to be allowed to ready a large attack or be able to make a small strike on either character. Follow Up Attack allows Azure to land an attack on either Jackpot or Tyro. Result: 7 - Tyro lands Surprise Strike on Azure. Set Up Time Allowed for Jackpot. Defensive Maneuvers Justified by Blade Runner. If this is all too confusing or not comfortable for you guys, let me know and I'll rewrite it.) The Fox was quick. From behind Blade Runner, Nightmare Tyro runs in and tackles into Azure. He seems to then curl around her, using his larger body and momentum to roll her away from Blade's side and across the floor. The bundle of pony and tails comes to a stop as it unfurls and stands. A triumphant Tyro smirking while his white teeth fizzle with sparks or the occasional spittle of flame. The attack was mainly dizzying, a few scratches from the Kitsune's claws and the bump from the ground. He places a paw on her chest. (Battle Advantage Roll (d20): [(1-12) Tyro Advantage, Energy Drain. Azure allowed escape.] [(13 - 20) Azure Advantage, Surprise Strike] Tyro's ability to drain energy from a target would cause Azure to find it harder to resist becoming a Nightmare. However, a surprise strike would leave Tyro wide open. Result: 10 - Energy Drain: Azure's chance to resist possession decrease.]) For a few moments, there was a numb and cold sensation on Azure's chest. It was making her feel a little weaker, a little more unsteady and less alert. Tyro cackles over her, raising his paw as a dark fog begins to emerge around him. Jackpot smirks, stepping around Blade but watching him from a decent radius away as her horn glows brightly. "Exactly how fast is that blade?" She asks, watching it curiously. There wasn't anything to see from this moon. Only a blotchy, headache-inducing mess of half-colours and shapes. Nothing was around her, not even Tyro. And then... And then a low Moo meets her ears. The grass was lush underneath her; a green carpet of life that stretched out over the pristine hills. The blue sky interrupted only by a few pegasai foals darting around in the clouds, playing some game with midair cloud forts. Trees in the distance rustle with the breeze like the most laid back maracas ever known. It was idylic. It was hers. She was nudged a little by a cow ripping up blades of grass by her hip. The bat pony chuckles. "Some member of Royalty always proceeds over events like these. Of course, you'll be there but the other members of Royalty may be free too but I can't see why not." The Bat Pony said as her head vanishes into a large wardrobe. A huge mirror standing next to Nova, showing off his posh, royal threads. The notes were mainly about different speeches in the honor and memory of Bat Ponies. Then, there were a few events. One was a fashion show inspired by Bat Ponies. There was a concert from various artists. There was even a history presentation on the rise of reputation of the Bat Pony from feared monster to cornerstone of Canterlot's defense. He was expected to take part in a parade through the streets too.
(Well, this system is quite... interesting. Is a bit long and a bit confusing up to some point, but it is quite good I might say. It took me a while to get it, but reading carefuly might work. I say we let it. We need order in this kind of stuff, I actually don't mind if I'm defeatied under those circunstances. I just hope I carry on correctly xD) Darky looked at Nightamre Nova after his attempt to bite him... and failed. This was his chance to finish this battle against him. He grabbed his sword and attacked him trying to make him unable to continue fighting, but not that strong to actually kill him or injure him badly. This was his chance.
Jackpot noticed the cow nearby her, mooing at her side. She didn't know what to do, but tried her best to look friendly. "Hello there..." Jackpot said to the cow
((I'm a little glad I'm not involved in this fight. I don't understand dice rolling/dice systems at all. No matter how much you try to explain it to me. It just makes no sense to me at all. :ahh) Everything that he read didn't exist in the "real world." It was one HUGE contradiction. However, there wasn't anything that he could really use to make this "fake reality" collapse. In all honesty though, it wasn't that surprising. He figured he wouldn't be able to find something to break this "fake reality" that quickly. It would be too easy if he did. But that's when he remembered something. All of the ponies that were "royalty" were alicorns. They were supposed to be anyway, that's what he always believed to be the case at any rate. But, he wasn't one, was he? He hadn't looked at himself in the mirror. He was actually afraid to now when this thought came to mind. Did this "fake reality" really make him an alicorn? If it did... he would be the first bat pony alicorn. Or the first one he was aware of. Not only that, he would be the first male alicorn as well. Again, as far as he was aware of. Time for a different approach. "Yes. Of course. But I'm still glad they came. To be honest with you, I sometimes feel like this is all a dream you know? My ambition was always to show everypony how illegitimate their fears of bat ponies were and how everything they had heard about them was completely and utterly false. Yet here I am, my dreams have been realized at long last. I can't help but sometimes feel like that it's all too good to be true you know? I mean... they let a bat pony like me join the royalty. I'm not even an alicorn, yet I am a King now. It's just... overwhelming and little shocking sometimes you know?" asked Nova. Nova mentioned feeling like this was a dream. Would this cause a response? He also said it felt too good to be true. He was testing this "fake reality." He was trying to see what it would do when he actually said this out loud. He was also attempting to find out if he was still a bat pony or if this "fake reality" had made him an alicorn without having to actually look at himself in the mirror. Once the bat pony responded to this, and depending on how they responded, he would go from there. ((If Nova became an alicorn in this "fake reality," I'm going to LOSE IT. :crazy)
"ahh…you seem to know magic draining…but one thing about the Blitz family is…we have a practically infinite supply of energy!" she smiled as her horn glowed and she teleported onto nightmare Tyros back and she held onto his body with her legs and used her spear to start choking him as she decided to simply "tease" him as she summoned a staff as well and starting pounding Tyro's face with it. so she had him in a weapon choke hold while clinging to him like glue and treating him like a dog by hitting his face with the end of the staff…since it was her idea of a non-lethal and stabby stabby weapon. "GIDDY UP FOX BOY!" (thought some humor would be good in this little mix.but i guess this would count as a surprise attack…and animal cruelty)

Nightmare Nova doesn't seem to bleed so much as de-materialise a little. Nova looks up at Darkness and panting, then collapses to his knees. A vicious snarl cements that taking one step closer was a bad idea, but Nova could do little else until he rested. Darkness could help the others, now that one of their enemies had fallen. (Wow...Yep, that works. Except she wasn't awarded one. Oh, whatever... Battle Advantage Roll (d20): [(1-12) Tyro Casts an Illusion and Makes a Counter] [(13 - 20) Azure Continues Attack Unimpeaded] An illusion is highly likely to work as Nightmare Tyro's abilities make casting illusions easy and Azure, while very powerful, appears to have little to protect from such an attack. Result: 5 Battle For Advantage Winner->Tyro vs. Azure [1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12]-[13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20] Tyro Wins Advantage.) The Nightmare Kitsune's eyes glint, a snarl emanating from his maw as he's hit in the head with the staff. But the old creature was a better fighter than that. Leaving him to simply sit there and take such witless punishment was beneath him. Another strike staggers him, even dizzies him. A quick shake of his senses and he was back and very ready. First, he turns around and bites into the staff, forcing it in place. Next, darkness fell around Azure's vision. She was trapped within a blinded darkness with the only emerging light being a stampeding form of pure fire. As Tyro's eyes take on a terrible glamour, Azure's eyes are clouded with a dark haze. As he wrestles himself free, tossing Azure onto the ground, he cackles, continuing his little game. He'd turned the tables, enthralling Azure in an illusion all of her own. In Azure's vision, the sight of a huge, flaming fox came hurtling towards her. As it charged, spits of flame fell from it's back, forming yet smaller kits of fire which ran with their master. Within moments, her vision was filled with blaze. The bright fires surrounding her, enclosing in. (Your move Azure.) With a dim eloquence, the cow chews for a moment, staring off into the middle distance. Then it looks up at Jackpot and says "Mmmmooooo." It was quite elegant for one of her cows. Why, little patch of paradise out in the middle of nowhere wouldn't be complete with out the old girl. The Bat Pony returns with a few coats and shirts, ready for Nova to try on. "Sire, yours is quite the rags to riches story. After all, you did push when no one else did. Why wouldn't you be appointed a leader after that?" She said. Nova didn't look any different in the mirror. Perhaps cleaner than usual. More trimmed and preened, which was likely just from having to live in Canterlot for so long. But no...He wasn't any taller. He wasn't an Alicorn. He wasn't even sporting a horn. He was just him, albeit with a cleaner mane and whiter teeth. "And relax your highness. There is still plenty to do. I think it's only natural to feel disjointed. Just relax. Let yourself settle in. You have all of the Bat Pony's of Equestria to lead." She holds up a pair of hangers. "Now...Azure or Scarlet? What to you think, sire? Scarlet could go with your eyes."
Darky looked at Nightmare Nova, fortunately he was still alive and unable to fight. He looked to his companions and noticed they were having a hard time, so he decided to jump into the action. He was not sure who to go against first, either Tyro or Jackpot. He started thinking and needed to act fast. (Well, the system looks a bit more organized now and better. I like it)
"HAH! you think this illsuion is supposed to do something?wow! you sure are dumb..." Her horn glowed and the illusion suddenly disappeared she telported onto his back,clung to him and cast a few resistance spells on her just in case he tried his illusions again. "now...where were we?ahh...beating you face!" she started choking him again but with a Iron halberd so if he tried to burn it,sure it could possibly melt but it would also be able to burn him. she continued choking him while casting more defense spells on herself. so by the time she was done casting the spells her defense was just as strong as her power alone.
(Thanks. I'm glad a little visuals help sell it a little better. Also, what happened to [MENTION=6323]Blade Runner[/MENTION]?) Jackpot broke her gaze from Blade Runner, smirking. "Oh! Boys! You can't go and stack the odds like that. It's just not sporting..." She said, her horn still glowing. The Nightmare Unicorn's eyes scanned both of her opponents. Her eyes watching both Blade and Darkness. She smiles, figuring there might be a tell in Darkness. The stoic samurai seemed as lifeless as a statue by now. His stillness being the biggest tell of all; that he was ticked off to a high degree. She stands and waits, biding her time to see what her opponents will do. (Uuuh...Yeah...No, I call shenanigans on this. One, just declaring that you can dispel illusions like annoying flies is not only stretching it a bit but then using it to wipe your mouth on. Secondly, just rolling straight into the next attack to then do exactly the same as before is taking the mickey. I'm going to exact a penalty there. The name of the game here is detail and that was pretty damn OP of you to just hoof wave that attack away.) As soon as Azure teleports, Tyro slips out from under her. And then turns towards her. Repeating the attack had the unfortunate effect of showing Tyro where she was likely to grip him. Being quite a thin animal, he could slip out underneath her easily as hooves were unlikely to hook into him too easily. With a viciousness that had come from being irritated by the little pony, he snaps and snarls at her. He dives at her and tackles her to the ground, several paws over her face as he presses her down. The spells she had cast weren't doing much. Defensive Spells like hers only really worked on other ponies, not horrific Nightmare Kitsune. And so, Tyro attempts to take her. His maw opens into a sly, sharp slit that his smile cuts out for itself. He presses onwards, draining Azure's energy, regardless of how endless she claims it to be, while also working to take her form to make another ally to finish off the two remaining threats. (Battle Advantage Roll (d20): [(1-17) Tyro Converts Azure] [(18 - 20) Azure Escapes but is Very Weak] Azure is on the back hoof anyway due to a previous brush with Tyro. It's not looking good for her. Result: 11 Battle For Advantage Winner->Tyro vs. Azure [1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17]-[18-19-20]) The next thing Azure sees is greyness stretching out everywhere. Nothing but potholes and dust as far as the eye can see. It didn't feel cold. It didn't feel anything. Only near silent.
