I do own the PC version, but it only runs at low graphics on my laptop, and even then it's slow. If I ever get/build a decent desktop, I'll probably get lost in the wonders of mods. A couple years ago I checked out a few really good ones.
My dad gets to spend a week in a the hospital and I get the house to myself for a week. I don't trust myself enough. God help me.
That sounds like either the cutest thing ever or the most frightening thing ever. I have not decided.
All depends on who you are and what you want out of a game. It's all well and good if people find entertainment in the minimal stimulation offered to them by the likes of FarmVille and Candy Crush, but for gamers like myself who value exploration and reasonable challenge, casual games provide little else but a slough of rotted neurons.
I didn't mention this before because it didn't seem important. Oh well. I've been rewatching InuYasha to finish the series off once and for all by watching the original season and then finishing with The Final Act. It's at least reminded me how AMAZING the ending theme were in the original season.
HOLY BALLS, AZULA GRIFFON DREW FANART OF MY PONY OC DOCTOR CRAWFORD ON TUMBLR AND I AM SO HAPPY!!!! I am a huge fan I can't believe this happened! *SQUEE* Missy senpai noticed me and it feels amazing! ~
I will be following suit in this. If it could detect my internet connection. As with my Linux updates.
People are starting to chat about the anticipated reveal of Fallout 4 in earnest now, and it's got me thinking about another subject much on the mind of every Bethesda fan... The Elder Scrolls VI. I hear it's probably not going to be announced or even teased for a while, but I've also heard that the concept is being considered and there's a strong possibility that we're going to Black Marsh. So, that could be a thing. Me personally, I want to go to Valenwood or the Summerset Isles, but Black Marsh could bring some interesting design opportunities to the table. Maybe it's too early to even think about it.
Personally, I'm hoping for Elsweyr or Akavir. Of course, the "Argonian Account" books in Skyrim did paint a pretty cool picture of what's in Black Marsh, so I'd be okay with that.
Oh man, one of the other continents would be awesome! Elsweyr might have one or two design flaws to be ironed out in development; mainly, I would be concerned that the scenery would end up looking a lot like the background in Daggerfall... a thin horizon and near-featureless landscape, at least as far as the desert areas of Elsweyr are concerned. However, maybe I'm wrong and there's some hidden design space in Elsweyr that I can't anticipate. EDIT: I thought Valenwood would be cool because one of the most interesting things about Skyrim was how rugged the terrain was; the multiple tiers of climbing made traveling by foot much more interesting than in the other games. Valenwood is supposed to have settlements built high into the trees, so I thought that might add new dimensions to exploration. It could be like a sort of Ewoks meets Rivendel type of experience. And the Summerset Isles would be cool to visit just to figure out what's up with the Psijic order; I feel like Skyrim left a lot of unanswered questions there and it would be a cool main questline. DOUBLE EDIT: I would like to see Elsweyr as Black Marsh DLC.
Valenwood would be difficult because the lore talks about giant walking trees, which would probably be insanely complicated to implement. Alchemical ingredients would certainly be a challenge, considering Bosmer laws against using Valenwood plant life. Elsweyr as Black Marsh DLC would be awesome, but I'm not sure how they'd do it. The two provinces are separated by southern Cyrodil and Topal Bay. As for the Psijic Order, that could easily be another DLC. The order is based on Artaeum, which doesn't even necessarily have to be located in the Summerset Isles. The island has a long history of disappearing and reappearing.
Good point on the Psijics, I just really want to see them. I think they could find a way to make the walking trees work, but it would definitely be difficult. On the other hand, the alchemical ingredients would be cool; what with eating them being illegal and everything, alchemy could be tied to the thieves guild instead of the mage guild. Could be an interesting plot point there. As for Elsweyr and Black Marsh being separate, you're right, but it could be done in a way similar to Skyrim and Solstheim.
Well, whatever happens, it needs to happen soon. But maybe not too soon. I've still got a ton of mods to try, and I'd really like to see an Elder Scrolls game ship glitch-free for a change.
