While we're on the topic of Elder Scrolls, I just started a new playthrough in Skyrim. Mages are so much more fun than thief!
How dare you all have an Elder Scrolls conversation without me. I'm actually happy with the series never really going into detail with Black Marsh. All the lore of the series so far says the place literally hates being explored. I like how it keeps that kinda mystery to it. I'd rather they flesh out Elsweyr or Summerset. Pretty much every spot in Tamriel has been covered by now except Elsweyr, and while it isn't like Bethesda to do revisits, I'd wanna see the Summerset Isle or Hammerfell to see how the war is affecting those places. The last time we saw either of them the Lion King was still relevant and Mew looked like this.
So, recap of Battle of Whiterun. 1. Mess with catapults while listening to Galmar's long speech. 2. Get hit by catapult. Drink all my health potions. 3. Break into Whiterun. 4. I do the logical thing and run into the Drunken Huntsmen, hire that Dark Elf Mercenary lady, paralyze Nazeem and cast Fury on his wife. 5. Drunken Huntsmen owner follows me to Dragonsreach. Gets killed by Irileth.
Unslaad krosis, but to be fair, you weren't here. "The Argonian Account" books did quite a bit to flesh out Black Marsh, provided they were actually accurate. I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda just hand-waved them away with an explanation like "Waughin Jarth made everything up," and then did something completely different with Black Marsh. I really want to see Elsweyr, because it's a land full of giant talking cats, and that's awesome. From a lore standpoint, however, the place I most want to next is Summerset, so I can finish with the Thalmor what I started in Skyrim. - - Auto Merge - - Huh. I never even tried going into the Drunken Huntsman. All of the buildings I checked were locked, and I had a bunch of Imperials shooting at me, so I never bothered to explore much during the battle.
You take that back. #Thief4Lyfe I guess I'm the only one on the Valenwood hype train, but Ridley makes some good points about design opportunities in Black Marsh.
Reddit confuses me. I made an account and posted a response to a thread, but it was deleted for reasons unknown. It was a civil post that insulted no one and didn't come close to breaking any of the subreddit's rules or those of Reddit itself. Oddly, the post still shows up on my profile.
I'm just so torn up right now about never getting the CD I ordered two months ago. I feel so stupid for not making absolute sure that everything was going to go smoothly. I feel so disappointed and in a wreck and don't know a whole lot what to do right now.
How expensive was the CD? It sucks when stuff doesn't come through, but I wouldn't tear yourself up over a CD unless it's actually going to command your destiny somehow. Did you borrow money from the mob to buy it? If not, life might just go on as usual. I'm a battlethiefmagus, yo.
That's one of my favorite things about the game!~ You can be a jack-of-all-trades if you want to be. Here's what my specific build usually looks like in Skyrim. Primary Skills: Sneaking, Illusion, Light Armor, Smithing Secondary Skills: One-Handed, Archery, Restoration, Speech
I had the best day ever. I made a spreadsheet of my monetary income and outgoings in order to clarify wich amounts to funnel in wich directions to achieve my goals in a sensible and patient manner, while not going too prohibitive. I think I might be odd when I get excited over making spreadsheets.
I didn't feel like riding two miles to the laundromat, so I washed my work shirt in the sink and dried it in the microwave.
So my mom called earlier and asked what D&D is about. Like I try not to troll my parents but for real.
