You guys all know MLP right? Don't you just love the catchy, colorful colors of the characters?Take a look at Rainbow Dash: Spoiler: How colorful are her rainbows! But, however, Hasbro have ruined her image with something like this: Spoiler: -.- As you can see, the colors are all washed out, her hair are all messed up, her face is just terrible, and do you see her as a strong, playful, awesome pony in that image?Probably not. And the case even get worse when it comes to Equestia Girls: The human version of Rainbow Dash is still a sporty, playful, up-to-the-top girl with some seriously beautiful color scheme: Spoiler: But a skirt?Seriously? And here's how Hasbro ruined it.... Spoiler: ... That doll is probably some of the worst dolls I've ever seen. Her hair are all messed up(once again), her face are wayyyyyy too round, her eyes are creeping me out, her skirt is too big at width, and finally....WHERE THE FRIENDSHIP ON EARTH IS HER TAIL?Such terrible quaility.... I know, I know, this is the 21th century, dolls are just plain dolls. But Hasbro can't make it THIS DAMM bad. Why are people still buying this anyway? That's enough for me.Well, everypony, tell your opinion by replying to this theard(obviously XD) <-Love this .gif tho.....
I'm pretty sure Hasbro tried to make it the closest as possible. But personally, they were way off. You forgot that on the Equestria Girls doll that RD has lipstick and I know RD didn't wear lipstick in the movie. She hates makeup anyways.
I know.Hasbro totally ruined it... Off-topic:RD hates makeup?Girl, you should take a look at your avatar XD
I like how the dolls look. But who cares about what bronies think the dolls were made for little kids and they seem to like them.
That, my friend, are one of the reasons why haters/trollers or simply anti-bronies still exist. Girls like girly toys.Guys like some guns. Meh.
Did I say that the dolls were made for little girls? I said that they were made for little kids, that can include both boys and girls. The dolls however isn't made for adults, so why should adults care about them?
Yeahhh, those dolls definitely could have been made better. Especially the pony one. But hey, Hasbro uses the show to sell the toys, why make them quality if you're just milking the thing for every cent it's worth anyways?
The Hasbro stuff is made for kids. If you want more show accurate figurines, check out the Funko Vinyl range.
There are only certain figures I'd pick up. Cheese Sandwich, Derpy, or Doctor Whoove. Derpy was sadly a Comiccon exclusive and I don't see them making figures of the male characters.
Yeah, it's a bit sad that, even after all these years, Hasbro seems unable (or unwilling) to make just a bit more show-accurate toys. I mean, just look at how they plaster cutiemarks all over the place in some of their more recent creations except on where they actually belong (the other flank). But I guess they can be forgiven for that. After all, no one expects a small time toy company like Hasbro to know anything about MLP characters. It's not as if they owned the franchise or something. ... Oh, wait...
They're getting better at Transformers. I guess the don't care about the Ponies, kind of sad they should care about all toy properties equally.
Well they allowed Funko to produce some much better quality stuff under their licence, does that not count? (they do Derpy and Dr. Whooves too, no Cheese Sandwich yet, that I know of.)
Sadly the Funko ones that I found were the black body blind box type. I got Derpy after four attempts, didn't waste the money trying for Doctor Whooves who was in the same set.
