This weeks winner, Hyrule Warriors, was a lot of fun so, I think I'll run this thing again. It seems kinda fun. So, new games thrown in to spice things up. Let's go! These are the games I have sitting around, waiting for their chance on 'Let's Play Thursday'. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath This Ouya version of the classic offshoot of the highly acclaimed Oddworld series is a pretty unusual beast. Almost literally with the animalistic protagonist 'Stranger' and the almost Wild West style setting. Furthermore, it's a first-person shooter that focuses mainly on being non-lethal and a third person platformer. Should be interesting. Dream Do you remember LSD: Dream Simulator? Well, what if that had a bit more polish to it? Well, that could be what Dream is like. At least, that's what it suggests. Maybe we could find out together. Space Channel Five: Part 2 You remember the ol' Rhythm Game on the Dreamcast, right? The weird thing that had people being brainwashed by television and a bright pink space news reporter had to save the world from insane aliens. There's a second bit, apparently. Metroid Prime Part of the Wii Compilation, Metroid Prime Trilogy, this is the first and arguably best of the series. It's rather simple, you run around a ruin like a heavily armed Time Team. And yet, it's actually good fun. Honest about that. Kingdom Hearts: ReChain of Memories This game needs to be seen to be believed. I know I've ranted about it before but I think the awkwardness is conveyed better when your watching me stuggle desperately with the insane controls. Crash Team Racing God lord, do I have to explain what this is? You know what? I won't. Go Google if you don't know but this is Naughty Dogs answer to Mario Kart. Does it hold up? Umm...You'll have to see. NiGHTS into Dreams When the hell did I get this?! Oh well, lots of floaty floaty flying and orb collecting for me then. Although, Sega doesn't do PC ports too well so...This one could be a little twitchy. Teslagrav Seriously! Vote for this one! It's awesome! Blah, blah, blah, 2D Indie Side-Scrolling Puzzle Platformer. Sounds dull, right? Wrong! With a slightly Russian/Ukrainian slant, I think, this game has you manipulating electricity and magnetic fields to solve some pretty taxing puzzles or defeat some nasty bosses. The gadgets are fun to use. The world looks gorgeous. Definitely worth your time. My Little Investigations Le gasp! A Pony Game on here?! Well, I did really enjoy this but I haven't gotten anywhere completing the first part of the game. Surely that deserves a little time to see how the mystery ends, right? Screencheat This looks hilarious. Again, the logistics of getting others to play might hinder this one but it looks like a riot if I can. It's a multiplayer shooter where you have to look at another player's part of the screen to win. Silly and interesting, it seems perfect fodder. So, there's some stuff I got laying around. But! Please suggest more if you know it and I'll look into it. For now, I look forward to seeing what you pick.
Play the 'My little investigations' game. I already played it and it's quite funny and interesting to play, although they only have 1 case :I
I haven't been keeping up as closely as I should, but here are some games I'd love to see you play. At the very least, I'd like your opinion on how they are. Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) The Talos Principle Eldritch Among The Sleep Miasmata
Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) Aww...That looks wonderful. I'll look into it. The Talos Principle I've heard about this one. Um...Maaaybe. I'm not sure how well it would run on my computer. Eldritch Huh...Like a fully realised Mincraft Adventure Map. Colour me interested. Among The Sleep Heh heh. Yeah, that might be fun. Miasmata Huh...Interesting...I'll have to give it a go.
