I was so tired when I got home this morning that I fell asleep with one of my shoes still on.

 

"I was thinking of playing our favorite board game." Emerald replied.

 

I've got work to do and lots of miles to drive this upcoming weekend, but I don't even care. I'm super happy and I've been having a great time this week, nothing can bring me down.

I feel ya.

 

I decided to teach myself to swim.

After two days, I'm sore all over, my ear hurts so much that I can barely keep my balance, and I've swallowed more seawater than a whale shark.

I've also managed to swim for distances of about fifty yards at a time, and have done so in very rough water, so I guess I'm doing okay.

 

my achey bones and temperature evolved into bad gut too. To add ontop of that I had to not be able to eat or drink (not even water) Before a blood test this morning, wich got delayed because they didn't have a biochemist in

 

Nobody told me my life was going to be a romantic comedy.

 

Is it at least a good one, or one of those terrible ones that star washed-up 90s sitcom actors?

My last ex and I broke up in early October, then in late December I started talking to an ex of mine from a few years ago (four years, to be exact). We hit it off when we realized how different we are from how we used to be, and every time since then that we've been able to see each other we've had a good time. We've admitted to having feelings for one another, but I have another fourteen months before I finish my bachelor's degree and she's finishing her associate's degree at the end of this summer. She says she doesn't know exactly what she's going to do after school, except that she's probably going to be working full-time, moving out of her mother's house and possibly moving to Tennessee (she wants to work as a musician, it's her passion). I want to be a writer, so it doesn't bother me much where I move, but I'm going to Ireland for six weeks this summer and I'll be far away from her, which is another reason on the pile why she doesn't think we can be together now. I understand and everything, and I'm perfectly willing to just enjoy our time together and see where time takes us.

The keyword, of course, is "now." The funny thing is, we both see a future together. It's just going to be a little difficult, that's all.

I guess this is adulthood.

In other news, my friend told me about a mod for Skyrim that replaces all combat music with Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone."

 

I must have it.

There are also mods that replace dragons with Fluttershy.
