I'm assuming it's a little too much of Deus Ex Machina but I figured I put this thought out so it can be declined and I can move on instead of wonder what if. My thought is Dr, Quack not aware of what's happen to the ship yet has just created a gum that chewing causes one to become a "colored misshapen pony, with odd marks on it's rump" (his view on the form). He had been watching My Favorite Martian and was trying to create a Nerplex that turned a person into a Klingon.

Appearance:She has a dark purple coat and her mane and tail are dyed in a brighter shade of purple in the center than her coat and the outer part of her hair is dark green. (I hope it's okay)
