Luckily, I don't have to pretend to be peppy or cheery since I work night shift. It seems managers and customers alike expect me not to be very sociable. Of course, when a customer approaches me, I'm still polite and speedy with service. I just don't really follow the "10-foot attitude" they like to parrot.
I've heard a whole lot of bad stuff about Trump. I dislike him myself. Almost everyone I know share the same opinions of Trump as I do-yet he's leading the polls and winning the love of the U.S. So...why exactly do people like him? I clearly don't live in the USA (hint: I live in Beaverland), and I don't have any first hand experiences of him, but I do read the news. Just based on that, I don't see any reason why anyone would vote him...but, since most news reported of him is negative, I wonder if anyone would be interested in sharing some more positive views on him for the rest of us~
I don't know about other people, but I'm voting for him because I'm sick and tired of the current political system, and I'm definitely tired of political correctness. Trump says what needs to be said, and what most people are too afraid to say.
I think that it's true that political correctness has gone overboard, but Trump is the extreme on the opposite end of the spectrum. An immigrant myself, I left my homeland because my family was running out of money. We really didn't have another option. The fact that Trump is so uncompassionate and prejudiced is something that we can't afford to ignore. He will tear down our nation if he is given the slightest bit of power. Plus, this is the man who will be negotiating with other world leaders. He is too brash, and too impulsive to be able to lead us.
I have no problem with legal immigration. In fact, I support it. Bringing intelligent, hard-working, honest people into the United States makes the nation better. My problem is illegals and refugees. While I get that whatever countries they're coming from are total crap, I fail to see how it's our responsibility to take care of them. They're of no real benefit to the United States, and in the case of illegals, have no right to be here. As Spock said, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Our country has degenerated to the point that we barely have the resources to care for our own. Now is not the time for compassion.
I can't say I agree with that. While we may be struggling, they need more help than we do. Besides, if Americans were forced to flee their homes due to it not being safe, I would imagine people would be outraged when they were denied an entrance into a sanctuary because it isn't the sanctuary's responsibility. Besides, even if you're correct about the immigration spectacle, I just think that Trump is far too visceral to make decisions for our country that are not close-minded and short-sighted. Imagine, if a power from another country comments on how Trump leads the nation; it would not be entirely surprising to find out that Trump ordered some sort of separation between the two nations. We need a level-headed president, and I just don't think Trump is that guy.
If what happened in Chicago recently doesn't stop people voting for this OBVIOUS BIGOT clearly nothing will. #MakeTrumpDrump*squee!*ain GET READY FOR EITHER THE SECOND CIVIL WAR OR WORLD WAR III. But hey... that's just me... *end of LostSanity's "controversial-opinion-of-the-day"*
He's not a bigot, he's an American nationalist. You mean when a bunch of *squee!*s decided to flat-out ATTACK Trump supporters? You're saying that Americans should avoid voting for Trump out of fear of political TERRORISTS? That certainly doesn't sound like the America I grew up in!
Not sure why any rationally minded person would vote for him, but if I end up getting stuck between Trump and Putin, I'm building a bunker x3
I'm voting for Trump, and I haven't been able to say that to others irl without getting attacked and insulted for my political views. My immediate family is very liberal, and to have people call me a xenophobic racist *squee!* just tears me apart.
I really do find this whole situation hard to believe. I would be funny if the potential consequences weren't so disturbing. Speaking from an international viewpoint, The US would lose any respect and credibility it has with the rest of the free world if it had Donald Trump as it's commander and chief, regardless of whatever he does to the country itself.
He doesn't look like someone I could sit down at the pub and have a few drinks with, I don't trust him.
Well, look at the other candidate. Hillary is a pathological liar who may or may not be guilty of treason. So, basically, we've got a choice between Professor Umbridge or Lex Luthor.
It's still not clear cut Trump will get the Nomination. Honestly if he does, I'm writing in Weird Al. Trump is the same as Hillary. The they'll both take the powers that Obama has unconstitutionally grabbed and expand upon them. While Trump is against Illegal Immigration, he has no problem following the example of Disney and firing Americans to hire immigrant though the Visa program.
I will say I'd rather have Trump than Hillary. She flip-flops so much I genuinely have no idea what her stances are on anything. She's a liar, just spouting whatever opinions happen to be popular when she speaks. However, ultimately, I'm a Bernie supporter. I'm a silly liberal who believes in LGBT rights, wants minimum wage raised, is pro-choice, thinks green energy is important, etc, etc.
If I had to choose, I wouldn't vote for any of them. Trump is an idiot who threw PEACEFUL protestors out of a rally for doing nothing but standing up and holding a sign, which CONSTITUTIONALLY they can do. Then he, and there is a recording, said "If anyone disagrees with me, by all means punch them in the nose." I paraphrase of course, because I am not going to directly quote that "thing" that people want to be President. So it seems that Trump is inciting violence. And to me and quite a few others, he never answers a quesiton, he gives a round-a-bout story, raising more questions than it put to rest. When asked about HOW he will make America great, he gave a blanket response, "America will WIN!" But HOW????? He won't answer. Whilst Hillary seems better, she supposedly lies. She used a Computer not meant for her to use for Private things to transfer information, then deleted it when questioned. So yes, she may or may not be guilty of treason, but we can't say she is, due to "No one is guilty until proven guilty by a jury of their peers." being in the Constitutional Amendments. Bernie, seems to be a good guy, but I don't like him as my personal preference. Kasich, oh the things I could write about Kasich.... I'm going to say, he tries, but turns out to be messing things up in the end.
I'm sorry... I didn't know being an 'American nationalist' meant being an Islamophobic, sexist racist. That's certainly not the American I know. Which is excepting of everyone. You're also clearly ignoring that the protestors are the ones getting the unprovoked attacks BECAUSE THE *squee!* IS CONDONING IT. I wasn't aware that the First Amendment didn't include the right to protest. OH WAIT. IT DOES. Whatever. It's now evidently clear that you're one of those people who want a second Civil War or a third World War and would APPLAUD this *squee!* STARTING IT. I'm done posting on here too. It's doing nothing. I'm going to enjoy voting for Hillary in my state's primary tomorrow (Ohio).
Well this isn't quite about Trump but try applying Vicious Lies to him.. With a little work and tune adjustment it can fit.
