So if any of you have seen the ads for the newest season, I wanted to know what you guys thought of the new villain? And the new town? Theories? Opinions? Thoughts? Personally, I really like it. At least, from what I get from it, the antagonist is going to be a pony who thinks friendship can only be achieved when all ponies are equal, because unbalance would cause a rift between friends. And of course, the only way to make all ponies equal is to make them exactly the same, making all their cutie marks LITERALLY equal signs. I think this is a good criticism of some of the ideas that society has about equality, and some of the ways people behave in regards to those ideas. Additionally, I think it is a very subtle response to all the complaints about Princess Twilight being so much 'more powerful' or 'more important' than the rest of her friends. But I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts on this!
It certainly seems interesting that's for sure. Especially with "The Smooze" (GOD HELP ME) appearing in some manner during this season as well. It looks like they will be traveling a lot and seeing a lot of different cities, areas, etc. So it will also be interesting to see these new cities, areas, etc. and what they are like. It looks to be ANOTHER great season. I can't wait for it to get started.
Never thought I'd see communism in My Little Pony! Anyhoo, can't wait to see what kind of messes the ponies get in and out of this season! BG characters and Dashie's own song... THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!
I'm really excited for this season to start! It will be awesome to see the more of the BG ponies and this new villain looks really cool. Mane 6 vs. The Equalist ponies~ X3
the new season is going to be awesome and i know that one of the sirens from equestria girls will come back as one of the equalised ponies.
I know that there is no confirmation at least yet but who besides me thinks that Starlight Glimmer might be voiced by Nicole Oliver after all she kind of has a similar voice to Cheerilee in the promos?
Well it certainly looks like a fun ride ahead. Season 5 will prove to be a season of wonder and why. Equality for all! Or maybe for none. All I can say is "Oh God! Ponies!"
they can use a special camouflage system in their magic to make themselves look like ponies but look at the one under the equalised banner and you will see the similarities.
Where did you see that they can camouflage themselves as ponies? Also, I'm going to say that the Aria Blaze-looking pony is probably a coincidence. -EDIT- Definitely not Aria Blaze. The mane colors are wrong.
Actually you could replace that sign with the collective body of your choosing. Any would do. Even the Apple logo.
