"I want The Hell-jumpers ready for orbital drop. Load the pelicans and somebody get me a gun!" Marcus yelled as the preperations were mad something had been spotted in Sector 2 near them "Hey Black Monarch. Do you know the secret to finding cloaked objects?"
"Negative sir, but perhaps the Promethian vision could work?" The Pilot asked the Captain. In response, the captain had sighed, "Keep any and all vehicles and ground forces on standby Defriender, we do not know what we are up against. For all we know, this force could attack and within a blink of an eye we will fall. For now, be on standby-" Noticing a yellow small blip heading towards the planet, he then used his Holo-Monitor to check the Cryo station, only seeing all were opened, and one was missing where fires replaced it. "Send a fire team to Cryo bay 226," "But sir, the pod!" "Never mind that, we have bigger issues. As I said before, be on standby, do NOT attack unless they take the first shot." The Cryopod landed in the middle of a large city, crashing through several buildings, only several Turian Civilians had been injured, but not bad enough. The Cryopod was still frozen shut, keeping its inhabitant frozen in time as the pod had been in a large crater.
The turian ground forces gathered around the crater where the Cryopod had landed. The forces were ready to fight whatever was inside it. The specialists went to see what it was, going into the crater to invetigate it and unlock it secrets or what was inside. "Sir, we have a transmision from the admiral." A turian said to saber. "Alright." He replied. "I want to hear it. The turian nodded. "Yes sir." He said and then worked on his terminal, playing the transmison for him. "Captain, this is the admiral. You are allowed to make contact woth the unidentified vesels." The admiral said "Find out what they are up to and why, and what they dropped to Palaven. If they don't answer we will consider it as a hostile acction against us and will open fire agians them." The transmision eneded with that. Saber looked to the turian. "Open all channels, I want to talk to them." The turian saluted him and started getting ready everything. "Ready sir. " he said once he finished. Saber turned on his omnitool, did some things in it and then started the transmission to them. "This is Saber, captain of the SV Sunrider of the turian fleet. Identify yourselves and say what are you doing here or we will oppen fire, you have 5 minutes to answer." Saber said to them in a firm voice.
"This Commander Marcus A. King. Captain of The UNSC BattleCruiser Defriender and Spartan 2 super soldier can you explain wher her is precisly?" Marcus said on the channel
Getting on the channel himself, was the Captain of the Black Monarch, "Stand down Captain King, I will handle this," He said in a deep tone, pretty much suggesting he had better get off, especially when I higher rank gives that type of order. He cleared his throat, knowing that these creatures spoke english, yet, he questioned himself how? Much like the Senghelli (Elites) over the years of working with them. "This is Captain Dean Morrow of the Black Monarch, we have recently had malfunction's with our transportation drives," He said, trying to get them to understand it was a malfunction that got them there in the first place.
"Malfunction?" Saber said. Well, that explained why there were only two of them in there. "Avou what you... partner asked, you are in Palaven, my people homworld." He thenr emembered something. "Sot ell me, what is in the ... thing you dropped to the plannet?" He asked them. "It caused damaged to a city, not that much but we are still concerned about it."
C0ommander was ready to give the Black monarch a piece of his mind since could easily do so but he "Yes sir" angrly but stayed connected and said to his ships "Recall all fighters and Pelicons we have made contact stay ready though."
The Captain grew more concerned, "What is in that pod is a valuable weapon. A circuit fir started in one of our Cryo bays and released the pod into space, and then I guess that is how it got to your planet."
Saber turned to one of the crew memebrs. "Inform of this to the admiral and the ground forces." he ordered. THe turian saluted him and left. "So, you say you only got here by mistake? In that case where are you from? We had never seen something like your ships." Saber said to the captain.
"I'm from Earth." Said commander marcus "And Captain i would like to say that we could get back but our slipspace core wont even kick in"
"Thats not even the worst part," One of the pilots said, "Our Slip Space Drives erased any and all location from our maps, we have information of all of the worlds we have visited, but they aren't even marked, just information thats left over." "Where int he hell is our ships A.I.?" The Captain asked aloud. "Umm... at the moment she is offline until further repairs is done of the chip sir-" "Sir, we have bogies on the outer rim of the moon," Another Pilot yelled out, informing the captain. None of the species here were marked as enemies yet, so it was impossible for something like that to happen, "How many?" "Five of them sir... their Covenant Assault Carriers and Destroyers!" The Captain had a look of confusion, why were they marked as enemies? Were they not allies? "What? Scan one of the ships." A moment of silence pass through, and the ships could be seen barely far off in the distance, yet, they seemed closer? No, they were bigger than usual, the last time the Captain saw a ship that size was the Fall of Reach... "Sir, one of the ships dates back to 2551. And it looks like they are heading over here, fast!" "God damnit," The Captain said, "Prepare any and all stations, I want the entire Monarch on high alert," The Captain was in war mode now, which was not a good thing for those against him. "Sir, they are sending drop ships down tot he planet, should we-" "Deploy all ground units onto that planet, prep the ODST's and Spartans-" "Sir! Ten more dropped out of Slip Space!" All of this was said through the communications, where all Turians who were linked to it could hear.
"Who the hell are they!" Saber asked them in confusion. Those ships were something that they had never seen and looked even bigger thatn the ones of the reapers from so long ago that he read in some books and notes from the reaper war. "Alert the fleet, get ready to fight those ships!" He ordred. (I'm taking cnsideration that in here, all races, incuding the geth, are alive and that the reapers were destroyed completely by Sheppard, but he died after doing that. Are you okay with that?)
(Its fine dude, I was going to bring the reapers back and have them work with the Covenant and another enemy I was going to throw in there, but no worries, this will make the war easier on you fellas! XD)
"Deploy all units! Get my pelican ready!" Marcus yelled as drop pods were deployed and 4 Mac blast struck the head covenant ship. (And I don't mind having the reapers come in. Could be interesting.) sent from my phone using Taptalk 2
(I have also added the OOC Section just so you guys know.) As the beams would hit the head of the large Covenant ship, it had only scratched the outside, but did tear some chunks out. Thousands upon thousands of Phantoms, Seraphs, and Banshees and Spirits were deployed unto the planets surface, starting their destruction upon many cities, as well as the Frigates in space. "Deploy all air units, send Crawlers in as well." The Captain ordered, "And get my Armor ready." He instructed as he took off.
"Sir, Palaven is under attack by those ships, as well as the ones that arrived first." A turian said to saber. "Alwet the fleet to open fire against... what did they called them? Cocenant?" He said. "Anyways, open fire against that fleet." he ordered. The turian fleet movet to the side of the UNSC ships and oppened fire against the Covenant ships. The ground forces of Palaven started moving around the planet to defend the planet from the invaders.
ODST pods hit the planet as pelicans landed with Spartans, scorpions, wolverines, and wardhogs. Marcus headed the land counter assault sent from my phone using Taptalk 2
One of the ships shot a beam of white and clear pink, and as it made contact with one of the Turian Frigates it went straight through. As Phantoms, Banshees and other Covenant ships began firing, revealing a large wave of green heading towards the Ships. As for the planet, all civilians were being mowed down with no problem by the Senghelli, Jiralhane (Brutes), and the Unggoy (Grunts). As for the Kig-Yar (Jackals) they had posted up in drop ships, s******ing the civilians. As the Turian police began to fire their weapons, they were demolished by what looked like a large purple tank, shooting mortar balls of molten plasma. This was the Wraith, and as Revenants passed it, they would ram into more civilians and police. The Covenant were making quick work of the various cities they had invaded. A Turian Military Officer shot an M-100 Grenade Launcher, and as it hit the Wraith, it did some damage to it's shielding, but did not stop it. He quickly took cover as Covenant Elites and Zealots began to fire at him, only having a pistol, he was in a lot of trouble. The pod was completely empty, a large figure running across the buildings. He posted up with a Sniper Rifle, aiming at the officer, but then the Covenant, and fired. He had received a headshot, and then another before having to reload. None had seen him yet, and it was good that he was staying well hidden.
