Meow licked Orange's face. Orange picks up the cat and set him on the floor while he went to the bathroom to get a warm towel to wash his face. When he came back, Meow was snuggled up in Pinkie's lap. "Heh, he likes you Pinkie."
Orange sat back down on the couch, as Maud's eyes were still glued to the screen. "So, uh. Maud. Why do you like rocks so much?"
(Maud) My parents work with rocks every day. I work with rocks every day. Rocks run in our family. I don't know why, but apparently Pinkie was exempt from the, quote-unquote, "Rock gene". The pie family is a family of renowned geologists.
"Geologists, huh? They study the composition of rocks and find out how old it is and all the stuff, right?"
The doumentary finally ended. Orange strected out a bit. "My mom should be home soon. If any of you guys need a ride home, I got it."
(Levi) I've already got a ride. I'm spending the night with my cousin. Have you seen her around school yet, Orange?
"Cadance, right? Celestia had her show me around school my first day. She seems like a nice gal. Tell her I said hello!"
(Levi) Yeah. She's a senior. Head of the cheerleading squad. She opted for more revealing outfits for the cheerleaders. Must be because her boyfriend, who happens to be my girlfriend's brother, is the Football captain. But good god, I never actually expected to be within slapping distance of her ass while she was bending down when I went out to ask her for a ride! And if you're wondering, NO. I DID NOT. SHE'S MY FREAKING COUSIN.
(Twilight) Nope. Shining's coming for me. (Pinkie) Maud and I are fine, too! Our dad's on his way! -Suddenly, Cadence arrives- (Levi) And that's my ride! *realizes he just made an innuendo* THAT'S NOT A JOKE FOR THE INTERNET TO ENJOY, EITHER!!!
"Levi, this is a hate free environment. You can stop assuming I'm going to take everything as an innuendo. Anyway, I'll see you guys at school tommorow!" Orange talked with Pinkie, Maud and and Twilight until their rides came. When Shining arrived to pick up Twilight, the last straggler, Orange went off to bend and laid awake for a while. He just let his mind wander and think about things as they came to him. His best thoughts were during these times. He kept a small journal of things that came to mind on a rest next to his bed. He occasionally wrote some ideas down, took a sip of water, etc. -The next day- Orange's bus arrived at school early. When he arrived at his locker, there was a note on very vivid stationary with messy handwriting taped to his locker. "Hi Orange! Remember how you asked if the Prom Comitee had space for one more? Well, I went home and checked my club roster, then thought, 'Silly Pinkie! I don't even have a club roster! There's always space for anyone who wants to join!' They just have to pass... Initiation! Dun dun dun! Meet in the gym during free period today. -Pinkie." (In true Pinkie fashion, the initiation could be a test of one's partying skills. I'll leave the meat of the test to you.) Orange made a mental note and folded the message into a neat square, and put it in his pocket. He arrived in his homeroom, greeting Dr. Discord. "Morning Orange!" Said the tall man. "How was your first day?" "Really great, Doc!" Orange leaned in his teacher's ear and whispered, "Don't tell Mrs. Daring this, but you're my favorite teacher." Dr. Discord chuckled. "Can do, lad. Now, take your seat. I'll think you'll like today's lesson. Really hands on." A girl with yellow skin and pink hair shyly walked in, accompanied with a box of tissues, as if she was recovering from a cold. She was cute, thought Orange. She took her seat next to Orange. "Fluttershy, glad to see you're feeling better. Those pollen allergies got you?" Asked Dr. Discord. "Yes sir... I printed out my homework and attempted it as best as I could... I didn't quite understand the material... I'm sorry." She said, before sneezing into a tissue. "It's fine! I'll see if I can get you caught up today. If not, just ask some fellow students. Class doesn't start for another 15 minutes, so now would be a good time to ask." Orange thought he heard someone trying to get his attention, but it was very quiet. He felt a light tap on his shoulder accompanied by an, "Um.. Excuse me?" Orange looked over to the girl. (Can you be Fluttershy?) Leviathan
"No! No! Go on, what were you going to say?" Orange couldn't help but listen to her soft voice. It was very nice and relaxing.
Orange smiled a little, then, immediately deciding that it was rude, stopped smiling. "What's wrong?"
