1.Maybe. 2.Spike is still the hero.Try to imagine that episode again without Spike following Twilight. Another good example for this is Equestria Girls, too.
You are aware that the episode wouldn't end with Sombra winning and enslaving the crystal ponies if Spike wasn't there, right?
It wasn't. That's also the reason why we are here. It's almost like you're saying:This is a show for little girls.
It's a show for kids, it's always been a show for kids and it will remain one. And they won't show the bad guy winning because it's a show for kids. Do you understand that?
That's not the point. We're going off-topic... But I'll finish this.Lauren Faust was intended to make this show enjoyable for the whole family. It was "kind of girly" because it was made to sell girly toys... I mean, look at the previous MLP generations... - - Auto Merge - - It was, kind of.More like mocking.
You missed my point, they wouldn't show the bad guy winning even if the show was created for the whole family. If Spike hadn't been there than Rainbow Dash or someone else had. So they're perfectly able to write him out.
You, and the other, are the minority. You must accept the fact that people want Spike, even if you hate him. Beside, how the hell are they going to write Spike out without hurting the fans? That Derpy case is enough heart-broking already.
