I see,you were mocking people who are stupid enough to beileve that MLP isn't a show for little girls.
There exist more people who dislike Spike than it exist that likes him. Doesn't it make you the minority? You have to accept that fact that people don't want Spike, even if you like him. And no offense or anything but most people don't get sad when they write out a character from a tv show.
Actually, I'm going to be honest and say no. I'm way to lazy to go around and ask every person in this fandom if they like spike or not. But most people I have talked to have disliked him. Also, got any proof that I'm wrong?
Do any of you guys watch "Avatar: The Last Airbender"? That's show for little kids with the entire premise that the bad guys HAVE ALREADY WON. And Azula stil scores major victories through the course of the show. Same thing with "Gargoyles": Xanatos won more often than he lost. So no, "the bad guys wouldn't win because it's a kids show" is astupid line of reason. There's even an episode of "Xialion Showdown" where a future version of Jack Spicer took over the Earth.
Ridley, you just won in my book for that Lauren Faust quote. I hope you don't mind if I'm a fan of yours, now.
Best proof ever! *Downloaded image for later use* But, still, seriously. This isn't a show for little girls anymore. In fact, this WAS a show for everyone to watch, right from the start.
"You are dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are just grown up kids, anyway". A quote from Walt Disney. THe Walt Disney. And it's a quote that perfectly applies to this show.
Anecdotal evidence doesn't count. - - Auto Merge - - But would many be upset if he were written out? I can't imagine many liking him.
(Don't use the same joke too much, or we're going to get bored.) I should make a poll on this.To see who likes Spike and who doesn't.
That isn't going to prove anything. We need to ask the majority of people in this fandom if they like Spike or not.
Alright.I will do it. But writing Spike out would be useless, and it will affect the development of other character, such as Twilight, seriously.
It would be great character development for other characters. And why would it be useless writing Spike out?
