PHONETICS TIME! /w/ = Labiovelar approximent. /l/ = Alveolar lateral approximant. love = /lʌv/ /b/ = Bilabial plosive. /v/ = Bilabial fricative. Shifts to make: Plosive -> Fricative Labiovelar -> Alveolar Alveolar is inbetween labial and velars. Therefore /lʌv/ -> /wʌb/ Not so much change, mm?
On a side note, what's with Saikyo's new sig? I assume some sort of event sparked this, so what am I missing?
I'm not really going to reveal why I changed it. Certain people will know who and to why the sig exists. But I won't explain. Sorry.
Something drives me to doubt that is the reason. Can't say what. Something does drive me to think it is sparked by class-ism and misuse of authority.
No, its clearly about the giant laceration I have on my left arm. That I accidentally inflicted upon myself.
O RLY NAO? Who would have guessed? On topic though, I just take the message of the sig for granted. What surprises me is that people who can't follow the rules they enforce get to enforce said rules.
Let me play it out for you, if I may. Certain Situation Happens; I retaliate. Retaliation leads to huge discussion. Huge discussion ends with me uncertain of what happened. Uncertainty led to me putting that sig there. But it is truly my rule. Everyone to be treated equally. I changed it though. It is my rule as a living being; the standard I set for all human beings.
>Bingo. So my deduction brain still works. Good to know. Now, what's interesting is WHO, since of all of the people that are formally staff, I can't think of any that would either a) give slack to staff members or b) abuse the admin-given powers they wield. Besides maybe the new DJs, who I rarely see, or on the RP chat, but even there, I know le staff, and doubt they would do anything.
Well then my good brony, you are wise beyond your years. (I have no authority saying this.) You grasp a simple concept that the world still cannot handle. Maybe one day. Sometimes, the culprits are the ones you expect least and trust most.
