=D I was starting to think no-one recognised them! I've been using them 'cause I've been re-watching lots of Studio Ghibli films recently, and keep being reminded of cool looking bits in them. And yeah, the plane's from Porco Rosso, my favourite Ghibli film; Unfortunately I couldn't find any good gifs of the seaplane pirates :'(

Yeah, toaster repair was a skill in the first Wasteland, which was the spiritual predecessor to the Fallout franchise. That's why Three Dog asks if the Lone Wanderer to come by 'cause his "toaster's been on the fritz..." My level is of course 10.
Hugh Laurie; Stephen Fry would agree with me when I say the man's a genius. In their work together, Laurie is usually the victim or the idiot, which is by far the harder role to play. And besides that, he's written a decent novel, released two decent albums, was a talented rower in his Uni days, (could've gone to the Olympics if he hadn't focused on acting), and has proven his talent as an actor by playing roles ranging from the Prince Regent in Blackadder the third, to the titular lead in House M.D. No offence to the guy, but Fry's a one trick pony by comparison.
I've been a Hugh Laurie fan since House, and was actually going to post one his songs in the rate this song topic myself. Then I saw the one you posted, and it's awesome. I never knew Hugh had two shows before House were he stared in them. I knew he was in Black Adder from my dad. Did you ever watch the two shows or were they before your time?
He was big in the 80s and 90s comedy scene in the UK, which is before my time, but they repeat a lot of stuff and I've got DVDs and such. His main works before House were: A Bit of Fry and Laurie, which was a the sketch show I got that song from; Blackadder the third, and Blackadder goes Forth, with a small role in Blackadder II and the specials; Jeeves and Wooster, a comedy where he plays a toff in the 30s and Fry is his butler, based on the books by P.G. Wodehouse, and then films like Stuart Little and Flight of the Phoenix, which helped him land his role as House. And yes, I have watched all of the above work and loved it, including House. Oh, and he was in Friends once. If you enjoyed Red Dwarf, then you should watch some of his earlier stuff, I think you'd like it.
