I believe that sunset shimmer is the bastard child of celestia and a guard. And she was sent to the human world as a way to hide her.
There was a little piece in one of the comics that showed Discord on the bridge of the Enterprise with the CMCs with Discord dressed as Q. Plus Discord is voiced by Q. Headcanon that Discord & Q are the same being in two different universes? Or is that close enough to actual canon to not count?
I forgot about this one: I consider everything that happens in the MLP:FiM official comics canon until proven otherwise (and just so you know, I've seen nothing to prove the comics as non-canon as of yet, besides, I like what they did in the Nightmare Rarity arc which is where they said that Luna was possessed by dark forces/Nightmares which turned her into Nightmare Moon) So... yeah... :ahh:
Oh, does this count as headcanon? If so, then I guess that I can mention how I don't consider anything from the comics canon unless explicitly confirmed as such by the show. Which, personally, I don't think will happen all that often (really, the princesses move the celestial bodies on a daily basis, and yet they need a lasso to pull the moon closer? Also, since when can't Twilight hold Spike with her magic?)
You're right. I can say "there's nothing to prove that the MLP:FiM Comics aren't canon" all I want to. The reverse is also true. There's nothing to prove that they are canon either. In the end, I hope that eventually, one way or another, we'll eventually have something that will either prove or disprove if the MLP:FiM Comics are canon with the show or not.
Skyrim headcanon: Lydia dreamed of attending the Bards College in Solitude, but had to become a housecarl because of familial obligations. That's why she's so bitter about carrying the Dovahkiin's burdens.
My headcannon is that all ponies are able to change there gender at will, and Rainbowdash was born a colt, but decided being a filly was 20% cooler. I back this up with the fact that Twilight Sparkles father is based on Nightlight from the first gen who was a mare.
Based is the keyword here. The lion king is based on Hamlet, does that mean that it takes place in Danmark? Also why do you think that Rainbow Dash was born a colt? Is it because she isn't acting like a stereotypical girl?
XD Honestly it came to my head cause I thought it was funny. And it's not cause she's a tomboy, it's just that Rainbowdash and Applejack were the most gender neutral names of the mane six and Applejack was a female in Gen 1. I have a lot of silly head cannons that are loosely based on anything. For instance, Transformers I mix the G1 Cartoon with the G1 and G2 comics. Which includes budding, Galvatron, and Grimlock being a part of the Ark Crew rather than being built by Wheel Jack. I also feel that the earlier generation, the bots that showed up in the first season of the show, had genders but they didn't mean anything. That it was rare for Gender to be obvious among there species and the the Autobot fembots were a rarity. To this end I see Star Scream and Ratchet as females, I got the idea for that from the fact Star Scream was voiced by a female in France, and some production notes from the G1 bible mentioned Ratchet was originally going to be female.
