There are shows, mostly recents shows, that have really awful or non-existant intros. However, fans took it upon themselves to fix that, and give those shows the intros they deserve. Game of Thrones already has a fantastic intro with excellent music and pleasing visuals, but I do appreciate the 1995 version/spoof.
No disrespect, but I disagree. I always found the actual theme to be lame and half-assed, while Queen's "I Want It All" fits the show like a glove. I don't see it as a spoof. In my mind, "I Want It All" IS the "Game of Thrones" theme, so much so that I start looking at "Game of Thrones" pics and fanart whenever I hear that song.
It's fine to disagree. As for it being the real theme, you are, as ever, free to reject everyone else's perceived and agreed-upon reality and substitute your own. That cannot be contested.
