Shattered walls of Reality (Interest Check)

A quick note, I won't be able to start this until I get a new computer. Group RPs are a bit to colex for me to do on my PSVita. I'm mostly making the interest check now to get the idea out there and see if it's worth putting the effort in preparinging it for when I get the new computer. Now, one with the idea.

Whie going throuh the books Princess Celestia sent her, Twilight stumbles upon a second unfinished spell of Starswirl the bearded. Not thinking she recites the spell outloud. At first it seems like notbing has happened but then Spike rushes into the castle library with urgent news. There are once agian too many Pinkie Pies, but she's not the only pony with Dopplegangers. His point is proven further when suddenly a Princess Apple Blossom appears in the library. After gather serveral knowlegable ponies, including a Princess Derpy and Starswirl the Beardless, they've come to the conclusion that the spell shattered the walls to reality and all the realites are slowly becoming one. For now it seemed like the ponies were not becoming one and until that started there was still time for something to be done. Several groups of ponies are gather to find artifacts that the wise ponies can us to repair the damage of the spell.


So that's the story I had stuck in my head. I haven't yet thought of the Artifacts needed besides the Mirror and they already have that. I like the number four so may three more artifacts. I figure people could have multiple characters and mutiple people could play the same cannon character. As I was writing this I was thinking it might be good to have three topics, one for each quest team. They don't all have to be ran by me we could cordinate over OCC chat.


I know this is kind of grandeos, but I had it stuck in my head and I just wanted to get it out.

Well the big thing of the RP is to use cannon character in fun ways, but an OC with close ties to cannon charaters is good to.


Anyone have suggestions for what the other three artifacts should be or should be called.

 

A mirror of some sort? Would seem appropriate for a story involving alternate realities.

 

Er, TRP, I already said that the artifact they already have is the Mirror. Probably should have specify that I meant the Mirror from Equestria Girls. I'm kind a thinking maybe the other artifacts should deal with time cause time and space are intertwined.

I really don't have any OC's related to canon characters though.

I've been thinking of possibly using my Ace Attorney-like pony OC. He's a detective, so, he might be useful to help find the missing pieces?

Besides, I could do an interesting confrontation with an alternate reality version of him that is a criminal mastermind. lol.

It'll be up to you though whenever you put the character sheets up.

Looks like it could be a fun idea, at least.

Head-canon wise my OC is a sort of really old unicorn shackled to the power of a powerful crystal of chaos, (which would, in itself, be able to counteract magic from the "mortal races," but such magic would definitely alter the balance of the realm, which is part of what his organization works to keep together. So he'd try to work towards a solution... maybe even provide one of the objects, since his group usually gathers and keeps items that could potentially harm those in the realm.

A few of the different stories that have happened with him have included him encountering and helping the canon characters, but always with hidden agenda, or only from the dark where everypony else will see it as the canon characters doing it themselves.

If that would fit in. Y'know, if you want to go with regular pony-stuffs, that's cool too.

 

That should be fine. TRP has already signed up as a Evil Overlord Discord. I had hope it be a larger group but if we can get five people I'll start it. Right now I'm only at two.

 

Well TDF said he might be interested, way back when, so he might still be game. I think he's away at an expo at the moment though, I'll ask him when he comes back.
