Fillies and gentlecolts, I am pleased to announce that a new driver has appeared on the auto racing circuit, one with tons of promise and determination, and the desire to be a champion. I give you the first Equestrian driver in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series history...DERPY HOOVES! Yeah, it's not perfect, but the idea popped into my head the other day and I thought it was pretty funny. So I whipped it up really quickly and here it is. The HANS device looks a little messed up from where I had to cover up her mane, but that could be easily fixed if I spent more time on it. Hope you don't mind me sharing! (Also, I apologize if Photoshops don't really count as art, I'm not completely familiar with the rules here yet).
Derpy in Jimmy Johnson's race car. That's awesome maybe he will lose a race for once. Here's a better car for Derpy.
To be honest, my reason for choosing Johnson's car is because...well...I don't have the highest opinion of him. XD Also, if Derpy really DID drive in NASCAR...well...
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that the cars used in NASCAR are all rear-wheel-drive, or it might look more simplistic than it really is considering that the rear axle is in the process of being ripped out of the car in that picture. But, you never can be to sure with NASCAR, they still use carburetors and other technology that has been replaced in standard production cars.
*Acknowledges Sparkz' post* Yep, at least with that they save the fuss about stabilizing bars... But I'd love to see a DTM car in the NASCAR (any day now, between seasons they make this sort of crazy stuff...)
