Wow, what I wouldn't give to be in a wide open field like that. My city is nothing but brick and concrete and pine trees. (I dislike pine trees). However, there is this one spot, five minutes from my college, that you can get away from everything. It's called Carver's Falls. The best thing is that hardly anyone knows about it. It's quite relaxing, that spot.
@Zephyr- I love pine trees, of course I grew up in Douglas county in Oregon for nine years so I guess I'm use to it.
That's much nicer than where I am. The place needs some TLC. But hey, that's what you get for being Canadian.
I live in a farm county, so it's full of... um... farmland. Also, I dislike walking. If I have to walk anywhere, I try to end the walk in as little time as possible.
I'm a city person... but stuck in the country for now. :derpe: Well, technically I'm now living in a small village, but just several months ago I was in a acreridge/farm house... D: ...meh, there's not much to take pictures of... But I guess I should take a picture of my village's large (for the village's size, anyways...) bar, just for fun... :Trollestia:
Oh wow, I can imagine. That scenery is damn perfect. Seriously, I'm in awe. I don't even have anything thoughtful or insightful to say, I'm just so taken aback. I'm the complete opposite. If it was up to me, I'd walk everywhere. I walk for miles, as proved when me and I_Ride_Ponies went on like, a 40 mile walk for no reason. It's one of the only ways in which you can truly experience the world around you, I love it. Also, I get carsick. And buses are expensive and full of people I don't like.
Yeah, I'm a Carribean guy, so I'm much more at home with palm trees and the like. North Carolina is so...drab to me..
I'm already here. Seriously, I moved to Orlando, Florida today and got here by airplane (most of my entertainment stuff is getting here by car-and-trailor, drivin by my parents). Maybe I can see you in person sometime soon in the near future.
Sweet, just let me know. We can probably meetup someday. Just hit me up a private message if you want my cell number. Then we can think about how to meetup sometime later.
Hmm, I can enjoy nature... but isolation, and ...*brr* cold isn't my thing, as well as long drives/etc... But aditionally, one thing you should know about me is I'm a bit biased on the subject from what I've heard. :derpe: ...my preferences can be explained, but some of it's personal as well. :derpe:
Interesting, as I love both. I dislike cities, UK ones mostly, because they just feel so monotonous. They are completely functional, there's not aesthetics to them. It's just a representation of how people do the same thing every day in the same old routine. That's just that though. Honestly, from an artistic perspective, I actually probably prefer industry and machinery, especially decaying and ruins. If I start, I won't stop, so I'm going to shut up about it now. But yeah, nature and industry, both beautiful when done right.
This describes me best in my opinion: Spoiler: Singapore ...ironically, it's the place where I was born, but my parents then moved when I was 2. :derpe:
In comes Lupr. Yes, I'm the one in the hat. Secondly, it's based on one of my songs, Nintendo Turned Me Gay. Thirdly, how can you not accept how amazing what you've just watched is?
