I was first introduced to Walk off the Earth when this video showed up on my DS in the Nintendo Video: Then I found this on Youtube and after that I found I really enjoyed them.
I see. Not really my cup of tea, I'm generally opposed to any music that features a ukulele, but the video for the first on was quite good; it was based on 'O Brother, Where art Thou?' I think.
That's the thing I really like about they is they use a wide variety of instruments. There covers are amazing and they're original stuff is awesome too. Or in my opinion. I got that vibe from first video too, but I think it was just a chain gang theme, not really O Brother where art thou. At the end of O Brother Where Art Thou the guys end up free.
Yeah, but their outfits and that first scene are almost identical, what with them popping up in that field and running chained together. A lot of music videos borrow from films though, and I do sometimes wonder just how much they can get away with before it counts as some kind of intellectual theft.
Buy the best one you can afford, and preferably one with four slots; you'll appreciate the extra capacity.
