If you could compare yourself to any one character, who would it be? You can pick any character from television, movies, cartoons, anime, anything you want (excluding any undocumented real life people, of course). If possible, links would help. I'm speaking more along the lines of personality and beliefs, not aesthetics. (Again, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I don't see an off-topic. Maybe I'm just unobservant) Hard to say for myself. The person I feel I can most relate to is Doctor Gregory House. I'm a jerk (maybe not as openly as him), I'm atheist, a misanthrope, and I think of things as logically as possible. Otherwise I'm lazy and hopeless, which is fairly off from him afaik.

If I could compare myself to any character it would have to be Kayvaan Shrike of the Raven Guard Space Marine chapter. He is a hit and run type of strategist and in a way that is how I view my self where my friends are concerned. If my friends are ever in need of help I am willing to show up out of nowhere for them and help in anyway I can.
Bah, I miss my 40k days now... In any case, this is a good question. I'd have to go with Kyle Katarn from the Star Wars EU. He was a jedi who fell to the dark side then ended up rejecting it. After that, he decided using the dark side of the force wasn't intrinsically evil. He did what he had to for those he cared about and his cause. He was also brutally honest. In no way, shape or form am I afraid to get my hands dirty if I have to to be sure what's right gets done. He was also sarcastic. I'm shamelessly both honest and sarcastic.
This one's difficult... Probably Sato from "Welcome to the NHK", seeing as that I like to think of myself as a "defender" of sorts due to my sense of justice... however, I often don't take things seriously enough, and am rather lazy with education though I believe in its importance (something I need to fix)... I often go into short depressive bouts, and for the most part am not very social, often talking only to state my opinions on subjects... and I often tend to be polite, possibly to a fault in my opinion... Though my politeness ends at a certain point, obviously- I have a tendency to lash out at those who take advantage of my situation, those who lie towards me, and those who go out of their way to show disrespect. Often I don't have any regrets over what I do other than if I fail, and only show as much "regret" as needed to cope with my current situation, but sometimes I can lash out at those around me who don't deserve it, usually leading to regrets and harsh consequences. Overall I'm probably a bit of a realist, bordering on pessimism, and in the best of moods, mildly optimistic about something before crashing into depression.
My best bet would be Mordecai from Regular Show. He pretty much describes of me, a lot. His Attitude is so me but a bit off. Love horsing around with my friends and Video games is what i do for the most part. Lazy? Yeah but not so bad as him. Loves to have fun.
I can't think of anyone one like me. Maybe I'm just too unique. Or too bland. Or maybe I just don't know enough characters.

I think i can compare myself to the main character of russian novel "Oblomov". I'am a lazy person and a homebody like him. But not SO lazy. I know, that not so many of you know this character. But he is the only one I can compare myself with.
Show-wise: Shikamaru from Naruto just because he's lazy like me and that was the only other person I could think of that is like me. Also, I haven't seen that show since years ago. :derpe: MLP-wise: Rainbow Dash, because she's awesome.
