Due to this meme I recently cought up on, I thought this might be fun to make The song of your people, sing it to us! If you were part of some strange indegenous people, what would it's sacred song of awesome be? Post a (music)video that describes it, or maybe even write out a text! Can be serial, doesn't have to be serial. And of course we're all already part of the grand tribe of Brony, so please refrain from using the MLP-themesong. :derpe: I haven't thought of anything myself yet, but I'll be back.
Never heard of said meme, but here it goes. ♫I'll seek you out, flay you alive. One more word and you wont survive.♫ ♫I won't soothe your pain. I won't ease your strain. You'll be waiting in vain. I got nothing for you to gain.♫
a warrior tribe, calm and serene yet willing to start a tgsuanmi of war hat will overcome any thing you even DARE throw at us
That was an easy one. I hope I the tags right.

I'm part Cherokee, and so there aren't any awesome songs for my heritage today. :[ This is one I found but I doubt the natives had a synthesizer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VqoxOcEqpk I bet they had cool hunting songs. :[
^ You're part Cherokee? Cool! I love the music and culture of the native americans. @Dansze So.. much.. win.
Well, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xgrl9S6HtK8&feature=BFa&list=FLIQBcTZvwku9oPmt87rW_PQ&lf=mh_lolz Most of the people I hang out with are old-school metal fans, so naturally we like Metallica. For some reason most of them like ponies as well, though to a lesser degree than me. Metal+ponies=Awesome Listen to the lyrics of this song, it explains my outlook on society in general. How we tend to let others dictate what we are allowed to like or not. Bronyism being the pure embodiment of rebelling against that.
Yeah, I've never listenend much to Metallica, but they have some songs I really love. And this one of them. I always thought this song was about the sacrifices one has to make to oneselve, in order to fit in a group. (never free... never me). Am I right? :3 I pretty much share your outlook on society... I hope one day we'll all be able to leave this herd-behavior behind, to accept and love each other for who we are. Being a brony is also a way for me to express this. Ponies are metal \m/
I've never really been able to bring myself to sing, so instead for you I will write the song of my people, the song of the broken. Broken as the walls we build around our souls Dejectedly we try to walk the path we do not know Spotlight shining far from us into anothers eyes Darkening us wherever and whenever we may go Crying for this recognition Trying to be seen as me Words that still to me are broken Quit laughing someday we'll be free Drown us out in words of hatred Ignore us today and leave Someday we'll return and change this Someday we no longer grieve Cracking with the boundaries of the prisons Nowhere left to go yet still we run away They tell us each day that we're forgiven Yet each day we can't even have our say Crying for this recognition Trying to be seen as me No longer will we be the broken We fight today and we'll be free Drowned us out with all your hatred Ignored us but today it ends Today's the day that we will change this No more are our lives just pretend Forgive me for any mistakes in this and the rushedness of it, I put it together in ten minutes once i'd read through this. I very much agree with you Darkmoon, I can't stand it how so many people end up throwing away who they truly are in order to be accepted and avoid the rejection of their peers. I know the line goes "Never free, never me. So i dub thee unforgiven." But I always felt that "So i can't be unforgiven" seemed to fit more. Rather ironic isn't it how we say welcome to the herd once they stop the herd-behaviour by becoming a brony isn't it Twinkle?
