*fwoosh* So, you don't like haters? Then don't care! It's as simple and as hard as that. I personally prefer to read the hate and to try to lead them on, but only because it amuses me. I play with my food, so to speak. >World Peace If only there was such a thing... If we DO convert all of the word, then all I have to say is inb4 Tia vs Lulu world war. >Thinks bronies are immature, yet tolerates greyOne I think it's mostly because he gave up on sanity and maturity in general. Speaking of maturity, inb4 Lewis Carroll quote. Also speaking of maturity, if you watch any of the jap comedy shows, you will not find any "mature" humour. Mostly slapstick and random pull-my-finger. Oh, and complete randomness.
um question? what about so called bad bronies? you know the ones that ruin our reputation and give others a reason to hate on us like these tumblr's for example, sure some blogs are cute but half of them are discusting and unethical, i mean come on "molestia"? "futashy"? "pinkamena"? they even have one called "little miss rarity" for celestias sake heres another good example about others ruining our good name:http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic/photos?sort=low-score#.Tq3ZarKwVT8 these are the lowest rated pics on the site i saw this posted on facebook one time and it gave common folk the wrong idea and made them want to hate :S im not trying to blow any fuses or saying we should have a witch hunt im just expressing that i dont understand why somepony would draw/create such things and destroy our image
I find all of those amusing. All of them. To that, I say it's their choice to see only what they do not like. Personally, I tolerate, and to a degree, enjoy said "destructive" things, since they provide me entertainment, but obviously, this part of the internet is not for everypony. In any case, to me, knowing these things, and tolerating them regardless is part of what makes bronies, bronies. To quote Lupr:
im sure they are very entertaining to some and im not going to confront you or anypony else on that because we all have our rights here nopony can say that cant do what they like or tell them whats right and whats wrong thats up to them to decide, im not and never will be radical because of course it is the internet after all
Congradulations! You win the longest run-on sentance award! Have a box of dots. But yeah, don't like em? Don't watch/see/read them. On a side note, Dan it, Touhou, why must you destroy my sanity so?
sorry i didnt mean to offend... im dyslexic so i suck at making making sentences sometimes so i guess i deserve to be the the butt of the joke once again i apologize...
Dun wrry. Its k. (That's an allusion). Everypony has something that makes them unique. Cherish that which does so.
Sadly, it's not the relative size that matters, but what the people see. Also, no major offense was intended @rainyday. Just sarcasm.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Dan have you learned nothing of the internet? Internet += Sarcasm Results in: IllegalOperationException
its ok ive really learned my lesson now, i just really need to stop being so over dramatic/serious about things in which that is one of my fatal flaws i know that in a strong fandom such as this that there's something for everypony so theres no need to stress @DanSze - i may not know you well, but i really look up to you dude considering your rank/posts, im just trying my best to show some respect because thats what you deserve. i know ill never be as classy or as smart as you are and it wouldve killed me if i really did insult you
Never say that. Don't ever say that. Everypony is equal. You'll never be as classy or as smart? I beg to differ. Though the lack of capitalization and proper punctuation makes you posts look simple next to his, don't think that he is better than you. His post count is higher, his has more rep. So what? Those are just numbers, stored in 16 bits off on some remote database server. Does that number judge who you truly are? Who you are in respect to another pony? I know you meant what you said out of a sign of respect, but do not belittle yourself in the process. You are no less of a pony than he is. Look to him, as much us you wish. Just don't look up in the process. Equality is a value we must cherish. This is not me attacking you for what you said, or for who you are. This is me reminding you of who you think you are not. Look to Dan. Look to him as an equal. Show him the respect he deserves. And I will personally ensure, he respects you back. Just one that has walked this path for a little longer. In the end, we are all people. (I'm sorry, but something set off a tick I couldn't control. I had to get that out.)
@grayOne - i commend you for that statement, i really needed it, ive always had confidence issues and ive never been able to take life by the horns. i want to make myself better and think things through, i always thought of myself as the bottom of the pyramid so i never really knew how strong brotherhood was too bronies as well as the way people should be treated in general. thanks for opening my eyes on that, i feel enlightened
I think I think I speak for some when I say this: I learned an important lesson by posting this thread. No, nothing to do with the original subject about those who have a problem with us (which, in the past, I have struggled to ignore), but reading the comments today has made the perfect example of my last paragraph in the first post. Peace. I know I realise we are pretty much a family! Yeah, it's clichèd, but as long as I'm being honest, right? Oh, and Rainyday? I know that feeling, Brony. For some it's hard to ignore others, heck, look at me! Perfect example much? All I'm saying is, if y'all wanna talk about something, just drop me a message, or anyone you know is willing to help (pretty much all of us)! Take it to the chin, and keep that chin UP!
thanks marriweather and you too sunburn, im actually really glad a thread like this was made because it really helped me let out some repressed feelings ive been holding back for a while and learn some things about myself as well as others. especially more about the power of love and tolerance im happy to be apart of such a great community
