Well, I suppose it's fitting that Doctor Who would do that as it's (at least in the 2005 series) been very good about nonchalantly representing homosexuality. Which is something that media really needs to do more of, instead of always playing it up for a joke or stereotypes. In Doctor Who it just is. But that's another discussion, I suppose.

Okay first of all I am going to lay down some ground rules / principles here.

    • This is a light-hearted thread, not meant to be a debate topic on whether you think LGBT people are right / wrong etc so no religious / hateful comments please.
    • Everyone, even non LGBT are allowed to post here or ask questions.
    • Have fun, and if you are sharing personal stories try not to go into to much detail :p
Alright, well I will start off! I have identified as Bisexual since I was about 10 - 11 years old, a little earlier you ask? Well, not really, I always knew the way it felt being in the changing rooms and it feeling a little to enjoyable  When I was about 12 years old I had my first same sex girlfriend and it just carried on from there really, only problem was we got alot of hate from bullies and even parents who were displeased about their kids being ''exposed'' to something that wasn't the norm at an earlier age, thankfully though the school dismissed their complaints.

Since finishing school I have dated both girls and guys and I find my desired gender often changes from time to time, but overall it still really depends on the person. Even though it is great in a way to have the freedom of choice it can sometimes be a nightmare and lead to very complicated situations / confusing emotions, also as well if you have a purely straight / homosexual partner I have found they tend to be a bit more distrusting since your potentially able to cheat with both sides.

But life goes on, anyone got anything to share? :)

    ----

P.S if this thread is breaking any rules (which I hope it isn't) then please make me aware.

I started identifying as Bisexual at age 15, and changed that to just Non-Binary at around age 19, and now I don't really care what label people use. If I like someone, I tell them, "I like you."

Sexuality is a pain. One day I hope to completely move on from such primal desires. I'm making good progress. The only things I pay attention to are 2D anime girls and the occasional person I get along with really well when chatting online. Never felt any urges for people IRL. Hopefully all urges of any kind will die down completely soon.

Guess this doesn't fit here toi well, but I've dated some others of the same sex online, so you could say I'm pretty gay.
