No...I want to learn Japanese..but its hard I heard I'm starting to understand a little when I watch sub anime.
Korean has an easier writing system to learn, but damn harder to pronounce than Japanese. I started studying Korean but got sidetracked and its hard getting back on the boat. I want to learn so I can get TESOL certification and then go overseas to teach English...its a crazy plan, but it might work.
For what it's worth, I think for an English-speaker learning to speak Japanese is easier than learning to read Japanese.
Alas, I am not qualified! But there might be some good audiobooks that could teach you words and phrases! I would start there if I were you.

Aaaaaaaaaaaah. I love September. Summer heat fades away, we start to get some beautiful and relaxing rain, the theater becomes less packed and I have to sweep up less popcorn, and fav shows like Doctor Who and Steven Universe return. It's like a big reward for having to deal with thoughtless customers all summer-long.
