September 12 Synopsis: Rarity's dream of owning a boutique in Canterlot finally comes true, but it comes at a price Rarity may not be willing to pay.
I'm with Rid. Why not just post threads for the rest of the season while you're at it? OK, I'm obviously kidding about that last part but this takes all of the fun out of seeing who can post first AFTER the episode airs!!
A little too soon don't you think? Oh well... *waits for the episode to air so I can post my thoughts about it*
*opening shot of Rarity anxiously pacing back and forth* How many of you felt like this waiting for the new ep?
OK, so S5 is back on track, baby!!! That said, here we go. Figured out this episode's plot pretty much as soon as Sassy started talking. That's not a complaint though. I actually quite liked it. Best parts were the new background ponies we get to name. I'm thinking Azarath Metrion Zynthos for "goth pony" (Aza for short) and for "nasal pony" I think Irma Gerd has a fitting ring to it. Overall: 6.5/10
This episode seemed to go along with what seems to be the "theme" of the season. Don't follow the crowd/go against what seems to be "equality" when it's not really "equality." Be unique, be different, be yourself. Maybe not the start of the new episodes that I would have liked to see but I'm sure there are still more GREAT episodes to come. Don't take this the wrong way though. I still enjoyed this episode. Also... about the next episode... If there are any Ace Attorney/Spiral-like moments... Or if Rarity shouts "OBJECTION!" and points her hoof at somepony and then magics a piece of paper in front of her and explains how they did it... Or if Rarity says "The melody of logic always plays the notes of truth" or something like that... I WILL LOSE MY MIND
The fandom has settled on Moonlight Raven for Goth Pony (who I liked quite a lot), and Whoa Nelly for Incidental Pony (aka Fat Pony aka Tumblrina).
Yes! The moment I heard the Goth pony's voice I literally yelled, "OMG it's a Raven pony!" Moonlight Raven for her name is better though lol. Trying to figure out what her little cutie mark means.
All in all I liked the episode. It was ok but I have to agree with Rockout...best part about it were the background ponies and I am now a fan of Moonlight Raven lol Can't wait for the next one!
That was pretty good episode, I liked it it a lot. The background ponies I also enjoyed as well. They're pretty cool, Moonlight Raven is probably one of my favorite ponies now. She just seemed so chill and I love that. Can't wait for the next episode to come, for one thing, it will be a lot better than this one!
