I don't usually follow Reddit, but if someone gets contact to him, and if he's in Croatia (or somewhere close), give him my contact. I can't believe someone would kick out it's own child over mlp, or any show for that matter... those parent's should be sent to the moon.
I have no words for this. I thought mine were going to kick me out for piercing my ears. ( Even though dad did come at me with a pair of pliers and threaded to rip them out while saying derogatory things.) But for mlp. Words discribe nothing.
I've learned over the years to not be surprised by anything, but that doesn't make me feel any better about seeing someone kicked out of their home for liking a TV show. That's just pathetic. The guy forgets to lock his computer one time, and his mother is all over it like gangbusters; invasion of privacy much lady? A parent has no right to decide what their child is allowed to like or not like; all they can do is suggest things to them. Things like this make me feel lucky to have such an open minded mother.
Bronies; We've got to stay strong. This world is getting more and more depressing but we've got to keep going. Our positive mental attitude is our only defense against the darkness. Those who can help should help but welfare cases like me really shouldn't worry ourselves. I'm going to go watch pwny vids.

American fundamentalists, pure evil if you ask me. Anyone who disaproves with the simple messages of FIM and calls it the work of the devil must be. There are many horrible things in this world, but even the vilest of criminal cannot match what these people does, they violate the right of free will. For without a mind of our own, what are we but machines, emotionless zombies enslaved by a tyranical ideology. I am not really suprised these people would disown their own children over nothing, they are just souless automations, the pure incarnation of conformity at all costs, puppets at the hand of a grand puppet master, who feed of their ignorance and hate like a leech. (And I tell you, one thing, this puppet master is not god.) They do not truly have will of their own, so I guess they are the ones I should feel sorry for . Ok, I have ranted enough. But I have to say, the brony community is the total opposite of these fundamentalists, we respect differences and are generally wonderful people, almost like ponies . Celestia, I take back everything about you being a tyrant, let me become your loyal subject in Equestria, it is clearly better than this world.
Are we not all puppets, simply with different masters? It is their free will to lack said will, and ours to keep it. As such, they are slaves to others, while we are slaves to ourselves and our own restrictions. That is why freedom leads to slavery, and slavery leads to freedom. Every aspect of life is a pendulum, regardless of how trivial or cardinal it may seem to us.
So very true^ I was raised to be a gung ho for god. Only later in life did I realize how useless that was. I've thought about it and I see no reason to believe in him, but that is a discussion for another time. It's really just a problem of them treating their own flash and blood as if he was nothing more then a piece of trash to be through out on the street.
Is it flesh and blood that makes a person, or what is beyond the mortal coil? However, I see your point. After all, when you lose yourself to conformity, all that is left is the shell that used to be you.
But you can rebuild yourself, abandon your old shell and form a new one. His parents have no reason behind this action other then their own misguided fears. If they were so inclined they could dismiss their old selves and start anew. I'm guessing with their background though, it would be hard for them to accept it.
One can not change of their own volition entirely. One must either suggest the idea, or help more directly, or otherwise show the wrongs of one's ways. Until someone shows to these misguided people what they have done in a neutral light, outside of the red fog of rage, they will consider themselves in the right, and have no reason to change. There is no 'perfect' isolated system, where one can both disregard everything outside and manipulate everything within. You can only have one or the other, for manipulating something brings outside factors in.
These people seem to hard headed to even listen to reason. They seem happier blindly following someone else, other then lead themselves. I realize you can only plant the idea and they have them latch on to it. The real question is how to accomplish this task. I don't know how they find the message of love and tolerance bad anyway. It should be something they want.
One can not make anyone want anything, as has been said earlier in this thread. We can only hope that they are happy and do no more to hurt the rest of the world, which I hope still has some semblance of self-control. If not, the we will simply have to teach all those who would listen.
A message of peace should be what everyone wants, why fight over everything. We could achieve so much more this way.(Ties into the other thread) Sure they might be happy, but at what cost. Hoping is something I do a lot. Even when it seems there is no reason to.
