The intolerance is unbelievable. Truly I don't know what to say in a situation like this. All I know is if someone told me off like that on a site I would just say "ok and anything else you want to tell me?" I can take a lot of hate from people and still not care, because they can't see what I see or understand it like I do and I just leave it at that. Spoils the fun for them too

It's Screw up to think a show like this could Trigger any sense of Child molesting in anyway. Parents being disappointed would be more reasonable then kicking out for watching the show. Jeez, Humans like his parents are the Cancer of this planet and don't need people like them on this planet. I think it's hard for people to be more reasonable, Open Minded and Accepting The Facts.
dang! so much hate against bronies dude. i think its just because of some sort of reputation growing on the name. honestly people make up the stupidest crap about us. i already heard about filly stalkers and filly molesters, and stuff referring to bronies as flaming homosexuals. and i even heard things like fru fru crews... just alot of stuff are hated about bronies. on another topic: i told a few friend i like my little pony and they seemed fine with it. one of them doesn't understand why i love it, but respect me, the other just doesn't care, he doesn't mind me bringing up the topic either. Trolls call us "Future Pedophiles", Which to me is Funny as all Heck. Same with my friends. Some are Bronies and Some are not but don't care that i am one and are fine with that.

Wow, they seem to take the very idea of a Brony as a personal insult. It's like they hate it just for the sake of hating it. I am ashamed that some Bronies get some sort of sexual pleasure out of the show. The very idea disgusts me and I wish it didn't have to be that way. Because of the few who do like it for some perverted nature, all of the non-bronies seem to look at us like we are into beastiality or are pedophiles or something. It's not even a war worth fighting for because it's like arguing with a brick wall. I'll continue to watch MLP:FiM regardless of what anyone says because it's funny, refreshingly heart-warming, and just a great show in general. I'm so glad I found Everypony. It's the escape of insane masculine stubborness and ridiculous sterotypes. I suppose one of the qualities of being a Brony is to be open-minded.
Oh, trolls. They gonna hate, no matter what you do. Ignoring them is the best option. Rant about them all you want, but this is the only advice I'm giving in ANY thread.
At the end of the day (and it took me a while to realise... heh), those haters are sitting at a computers, or twiddling and tapping fingers on their phones. They can't do anything about Bronies. We can't do much about them. So... we ignore them! They can't change who you are with a few harsh words, that you know aren't true. Tis only what I do now. It's your choice, of course! :derpe:
I've seen various reasons why males liking MLP would be 'evil'... We would be perverts. Man-children refusing to grow up. Hipsters that think they're 'deep' by watching a little girl's show. for first case, it's simple: normal person + internet + screen name/anonymity = possible troll/hater/want to seem cool and stronger then someone by insulting someone that seems weaker than himself. on internet of course. really, I would like to see how much of real life do those people have since they have so much free time to go around searching for bronies to insult them. Bad thing is when it actually reflects in real life like in second case. If those parent's would kick out their child out of house over a tv show (whatever show that was), then I question their parenting in complete.

I have a very activist personality and seeing people be wilfully ignorant like this makes me angry is the same reason another evil, is taking over the world. So I consider anyone who isn't open minded enough to at least try to understand why people like ponies, are complete jerks. For example I thought I lost my best friend when I told him about ponies and he then made a hate video against bronies. then went on to see me ponify most of my school assignments in some way and constantly post youtube videos about it and have pony wallpapers and go on pony toy raids and get up and present ponies to my class. Despite all this we are still great friends and he is still not a brony. In my opinion people who are not open minded enough to be respectful of other people's interest are not worth associating with and frankly disgust me and we are even planning on becoming housemates and part of our own independent short film production company. But on the other hand. I think the whole anonymous thing on the internet has a lot to do with it. The worst reaction I have ever gotten in real life is a raised eyebrow. On the internet people wish that I never breed and die of a painful cancer. So I don't think haters would actually have any balls to take their hate outside of forums.
If people hate it, you don't have to shove it down any person. Just ignore them or at least don't aggravate them more. As for the Reddit topic, we have a thread for that and talked about it and our responses.
