so what are your guys's expectations on the new movie is it really going to be as good as the last 2 or is something going to be a little different that impresses us or disappoints us
Well well well!! That was pretty damn good!! Of course, the first 1/3 of it had been released as teasers but that aside, I really enjoyed it. Of course there were elements recycled from Ep. 1 and the first movie but for some reason, that doesn't seem to bother me. Still pales in comparison to Rainbow Rocks but I'll give this movie a favorable 6.5/10.
Midnight Sparkle vs. Sunset Phoenix. Also some other cool stuff happened. There was a villain song. Numbers/10.
I liked it, it brought things full circle. If it's the final one then that's acceptable. I'd personally still like to see a regular series around the EG cast.
Overall, I'm very pleased. The narrative was surprisingly good this time in my opinion, probably the strongest in all of the Equestria Girls movies yet. If there was one thing I didn't particularly like, it was Sour Sweet's Jekyll-and-Hyde persona, but at least she didn't overstay her welcome. And I also didn't really care much about the music this time around, but whatever. Still a pretty good movie.
Which one was Sour Sweet? I haven't dislike any of the musics fortunately none of it got stuck in my head this time. Course that only happened with "Helping Twilight win the Crown" and "Life is a Runway."
I liked it up til the ending, real disappointment. All they did was repeat what happened to Sunset Shimmer, a little different, but not by much. Where's the originality? If I wanted to see that, I would have just watched the first movie.
