G1 and Animated are my other preferences, although Prime is alright by me, and Beast Wars isn't too bad, either.
Have you watched Prime's sequel series? I wished the hadn't ended Animated when they did it seemed like things were just getting interesting.

Their victory was more important at the time. Remember, they'd been fighting for millions of years. Besides, it's only a movie. Every movie has flaws.
I do agree that those were questionable humor choices, but there are good laughs to be had, too. For example, the black hacker is hilarious whenever he's onscreen. And besides, imagine what Peter Cullen had to tell his family after that day in the recording booth.
