Taffy blushed at that. "What!? No! Ah..." She sputtered, her cheeks rosy red. That wasn't what she'd meant! Not that she necessarily had a problem with... No! Now wasn't the time! "Jus' get in here, will ya?" She finally managed, shifting over a little so he could climb in. It wasn't the best hiding place in Equestria, but the could see out easily, and nopony would spot them unless they were actively looking.
Arcus rolled his eyes, laughing at Taffy's ridiculous blush. "Totally called it." he smirked, jumping into the wreck, ending up right beside Taffy. "... I think we have different definitions of 'plenty of space'... But then again, you don't have wings." he chuckled, flattening his wings against his back to free up a tiny bit. Turning his head towards Taffy, however, he couldn't resist something pointing out, with a definite smirk.... "... Also, Taffy, you're still red."
"There they are..." Darky said calmly as Lullaby and her companions, as well as two other ponies walked out of the forest. He wondered who were the other two, they looked like POWs. He calmly as he flew down. "Alright my co- ..." Darky remained silent after seeing Taffy with the blush
Right as arcus finished getting in the carage lucky and the rest of them walked out into the open "At least one more, and don't try anything funny eather or I'll shoot you inbetween the eyes" lucky told qaline In truth lucky didn't think he could shoot such a small spot but he knew he could get her head Ace looked at qaline like she was about to do something stupid Even if she was able to hurt or even kill one of them She still had two others ready to shoot her
"Ah..." Taffy looked away, pretending to scan the trees for movement, then ducked down as she saw ponies approaching. "It's transmission fluid, from when Ah was removin' the parts!" She whispered at Arcus, her nose scrunching a little as she lied. She frowned as the ponies started talking with Darky. Some of them seemed to be prisoners...
Qaline stared at Arcus for a moment, then confirmed Ace's suspicions by dashing forward, slicing Lucky's leg as she galloped past, and then tackling Arcus. "target acquired!" she yelled triumphantly.
Ace was taken aback by her stupidity as thunder fired a granade It over shot and blew up inbetween qaline and the carage makin her have to stop or have shrapnel cut into her back as it rained down "Buck!" Lucky yelled as he jumped back from the cut He wasn't expecting it at all and was now bleeding as he flapped his wings to be in the air so he didn't put any pressure on it
"Eek!" Lullaby squeaked as she ducked to avoid damaging herself. She then noticed that Lucky was injured, then her horn glowed and started healing his cut. Darky noticed the explosion and then saw that the mare trying to tackle Arcus, but getting stopped. "What the..:" he said, confused
"Right, right, because transmission fluid has a delay when it stains something. Riiiight." Arcus smirked. He was about to say something else, but he was stopped by the sight of a pony... ... Launching straight towards him. He frowned and switched out his hoofblades with a flick of his wrist, but before the pony could impact, she was stopped by... Hold up. Was that a grenade launcher? "... Taffy, I think we've got company." Arcus muttered, eyeing the multitude of ponies now directly outside the wreck.
Taffy covered her face with a hoof as debris from the grenade rained down into the wreck. "They seem pretty intent on killin' each other..." She replied, her eyes darting about, " An' Ah think that white one's the only one that saw us..."
Lucky smiled at lullaby at the healing before aiming down his sites at qaline "Give me one reason not to shoot you" he said with his mouth close to the trigger
Arcus crouched back down, putting a hoof to his chin as if he was deep in thought. "... I think that white one's after me." he smirked, shaking his head. "I wonder if I should just shoot them all... Eeh, if they come any closer, I guess." he murmured, eyeing the bow on his back.
Darky gave a step back until his flank was against the tree. "Lullaby!" He yelled. Lullaby turned to him as she healed lucky, then ran to him, still healing hime
"No!" Taffy whispered, grabbing Arcus' foreleg gently, "Ah mean, not unless ya have to... please?" She pleaded, looking at him. She didn't like seeing ponies hurt. She knew it was part of life in the wasteland, but it didn't mean she had to like it.
"Whatever you two are talking about, you should get to it soon." Darky said to Taffy and Arcus as he hugged her daughter. Lullaby hugged him. "Dad!" She said happily as she stopped healing Lucky.
Arcus pursed his lips, nodding after a moment. "I'll... I'll try." He sighed, before looking up at Taffy with a small little smile. He really didn't feel like this was a good idea, but I guess it's worth a shot? "I guess we'll just enjoy the front-row seats for two to the action for now..." He smirked, stealthily booping Taffy with the foreleg she wasn't attached to. ... How do you stealth-boop?
Taffy blushed a bit again at the boop, and scrunched her nose. "Ah appreciate it," She whispered, smiling at him.
Arcus rolled his eyes, but still, smiled back. "Appreciate it while you can, because if they start shooting, you're going to see a lot of dead ponies." he whispered back, keeping a firm grip on his bow... And, inadvertently, her hoof. Hopefully, no arrows would fly this day...
"I didn't kill anypony" she said dryly. "and I was only planning on killing the grey pegasus in the carriage. does that count?"
"No....there's enough killing out here, if I can stop it I will" lucky said "Now back off before I can't stop some pony from being killed" Ace smiled at lucky and his reason He reminded ace of himself when he was younger
