So my community how did you like this episode how did you like the interaction between the Apple family and Pinkie Pie's family on a heartwarming eve and how Applejack was bring their traditions and was trying to make their traditions better without realizing the big family rock was so important making her realized that and this is for those who've seen it for those who haven't don't read this it's nothing but spoilers
Well, uh, I... don't really know what to say. Maybe it's because I'm in a lousy mood anyway but this episode didn't make me feel as warm and fuzzy as I thought it would. Maybe it was the thought of eating that nasty ass rock stew. I did get a kick out of the Waltons reference and Marble and Mac's parts will no doubt spawn at least 100 new fanfics. She's cute though... and she makes Fluttershy look like James Brown (picture THAT without laughing). Limestone is kind of a jerk but I guess she means well. Overall, not a lot about this episode really clicked with me. Kind of felt like a repeat of the first Maud episode. Still, I'll give it a fair 5/10. Also, "aftermath" makes it sound like a natural disaster! Eh, nitpicky Rockout is nitpicky.
Oh boy, remember how boring and pointless the Maud episode was? Multiply that by 5 and you have Hearthbreakers. Did both AJ and Pinkie come across to anyone else as just not acting like themselves?
I'm giving it 10/10 to counteract Dulset's constant negativity. I get enough of that in meatspace. I don't need it here. As for the episode itself, I liked it. It was cool to watch the two families slowly warming up to each other, rather than instantly being friends.
At least Applejack learns her lesson after ruining everything. Again. Like usual. Go back to the background, orange pony. I'm going to think of this as a Maud Pie / Pinkie Pie episode with Applejack as a plot device. Can we replace AJ with Maud? She seems to be honest all the time too... I'm just sayin' I did like the Marble Pie & Big Mac ship. They were too cute together.
Really great episode, it was nice to see the Apple and Pie family get together and I have a feeling there will be a Marble Mac shipping now....... Limestone was kind of rude, but she's alright. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/10.
This one was quite a cute episode. I enjoyed seeing all of the Pie family in their entirety, with personalities to boot! Pinkie's parents old fashioned way of speaking reminded me of Luna in Luna Eclipsed. Except without the shouting. Limestone was kind of jerkish. It was understandable why she was so possessive with Houlder's Boulder (though I felt it was still too much) near the end of it... but... she was a little too jerkish. Marble is definitely the Fluttershy of the family though!! So shy. Made me like her. Her and Big Mac and their "one words" That was quite funny. To be perfectly honest... the conflict for this episode was a little expected. It had it's moments though. Mostly with Maud, Pinkie, or Marble and Big Mac. It got a little disheartening near the end with the not-a-family-anymore Pie and Apple feud. It was a good heartwarming episode though and I quite enjoyed seeing all of the Pie family.
I liked this episode, and I will admit it was 80% because of Maud, Marble and Big Mac. 8/10. It's the little touches that get me, like when the camera zoomed in when Maud said "...They're all about rocks." I cracked up even though it wasn't THAT funny. Also, I shipped Marble and Mac before the writers did. As soon as I saw they were on a team together, 'randomly' picked by Pinkie, I knew, they were both quiet and it was adorable.
