Ran this by Tyro, he says it's a cool idea. Basically, I think it'd be neat to have a new banner, minimalist like the one we have presently, but updated with characters from members who are actually active nowadays. I won't be making it myself because I art like I'm having a seizure, but I'll be commissioning an artist I know. Do not offer to help pay, that's on me. So if you have a pony you want in the banner, please post a picture of them below. I'm setting the deadline at Christmas day.
I think I can count on one hand OCs of people who are still active, this would be a good idea. Now, I don't have any pictures of my OC on hand but I can get some.
Will you be including the members who don't use OCs, but use canon characters instead? @Toaster Repair Pony uses Discord, @RainbowDash9000 has Rainbow Dash, and @Poisonous Nightmare is the site's resident Chrysalis.
I'd say 'Why not?'. We're a fan site, not a business. OK, iffy terminology if you wanted to really argue over it but we don't make money off of Hasbro's stuff so...why not?
OK, good news: I found the old thread where OC requests were made to eventually make the Everypony banner above. Bad news: every single link to the images are broken so, unless I go annoy Poetic till he gives up the images he probably doesn't still have, your starting from square one. I did manage to find this though:

Firstly, yay! We all got a place on the banner. Secondly, no one can fault you for being unique and well... furry~ Hehehehe~ I'm a furry/brony myself so I could care less in anycase.
I need to update my ponysona anyway. I guess this gives me an excuse. I never realized just how badly the banner needed to be updated. Other than Tyro, I don't think any of the members featured are still active.
I've got no problem with that, it's just a fox is at least organic, do you really want a Transformer in a banner for a Pony site?
I'm asking that the artist start with Discord and Tyro, the hardest of the bunch. If they can't do that, which by all rights I don't see why they wouldn't be able to, I'll have lost faith in them. Meaning I'll find another artist to hire, as I don't want this to be a massive disappointment.
The only OCs I have are the one's I RP with. I don't have one based off of myself and I really don't create OCs like that. So either one of those will have to be used... or... Jack Frost from Persona. Or don't include me at all is an option too...
