Someone on another site suggested this. Do you think there should be an episode focusing only on the male characters, like how Slice of Life focused on background characters?
I wouldn't mind seeing a "guys' day' type of episode. We already know that Spike and Big Mac hang out, and it might be cool to give them and the other male characters a story of their own.
Do I look like a showrunner? I'd say it's certainly possible, but I wouldn't say that it's likely to happen. I'd say maybe a ten percent chance of it happening next season.
It would be interesting to see... however... I'm not certain there are enough male characters to pull something like that off.
Spike, Big Mac, and Shining Armor are the three that have the biggest roles. Throw in Braeburn or Soarin, and you've got a pretty decent "Guy's Night." episode.
Hehe, the "male 6". I think that it could make an interesting episode, but I don't likely see it happening unless demand get popular.
This sounds like it ought to be a Community Post. It should be a Community Post. Maybe it will. It's a good idea I'd like to see!
There's always the possibility of tossing Flash Sentry into the mix. Maybe pony Flash could develop into an interesting character.
This is an idea that's come up quite a bit over the course of the show, and while I like the idea in theory, I really doubt it's going to happen. At least not as straight 22 minutes of dudedom. 30 seconds, or even a couple minutes for a Guy's Night Out gimmick I can understand, but an entire episode like that is hard to write while still being clean and interesting and it appeals to a much smaller group of people than the premise of the 100th episode. But, whatevs. If it happens, it happens. Though I have to say I'd enjoy a Celestia episode and some Flutterfamily much more.
No thanks. I'm okay with EqG pony version cameos but anything more than that I would prefer not to see since I don't like the movie series and I don't intend on ever watching it.
I would be pretty okay with this. What do guys actually do together in Equestria? Then how do you know you don't like it..?
Well, we know that Princess Cadance is going to have a baby. They should have a baby shower episode, but... instead of having the show be about the girls and the shower, have it focus on Shining Armor and the guys and what they get up to while all the girls are at the shower. And leave Spike out of it. He's a kid. He can be at the shower cataloging presents for Twilight or something. Also, I like the Flash Sentry x Twilight Sparkle ship and think they should go into it more on the show.
Really I wish we did see more of the Pony Flash, now that the human Flash has a human Twilight, Pony Twilight shouldn't get confused over the two, she should get to know her world's Flash.
Because the show is fine with just ponies. There's absolutely no reason for them to turn into humans. AT ALL.
True, but so what? Just because there's no reason for something to happen, does that automatically mean that it shouldn't?
I'd actually love to see an episode like that. Whether it's an epic quest or a slice of life type episode, I think it would be entertaining to see how some of the dudes would solve a problem.
No but it also doesn't mean I have to watch it either Sorry. It's not happening and nothing is going to change that.
